Η σκουριασμένη επιφάνεια ως αγγελιοφόρος μνήμης και ελπίδας. Οι οξειδωμένες πληγές της ύλης μετουσιώνονται και μετασχηματίζονται εικαστικά. Με τυχαίο και αφηρημένο τρόπο η φύση αναδεικνύει μια άλλου είδους ζωή μέσα από την παρακμή. Ένα μικροκοσμικό σύμπαν φθοράς και ενέργειας που εν χορώ και ωδές δηλώνει τη νέα υπόστασή του. Στιγμιότυπα που συνοδεύουν την πορεία μας μέσα από την oμορφιά, προς το φως.
The rusty surface as a messenger of memory and hope. The oxidized wounds of matter are transformed artistically. In a random and abstract way, nature brings out a different kind of life through decline. A microcosmic universe of decay and energy that joyfully and ceremoniously declares its new existence. Snapshots as companions to our path towards light and beauty.

Costas Papageorgiou was born in Athens – Greece. He is a Physicist (University of Ioannina) with a graduate degree from the Hellenic Open University. He studied classical guitar and music theory. He has written music for the theater. Since 2009 he has been involved in photography and video art installations and participated in solo and group exhibitions in Greece, Cyprus and Austria. His photographs belong to private collections in Greece and abroad. Ο Κώστας Παπαγεωργίου γεννήθηκε στην Αθήνα. Είναι Φυσικός (Πανεπιστήμιο Ιωαννίνων) με μεταπτυχιακές σπουδές στο ΕΑΠ. Σπούδασε κλασική κιθάρα και θεωρητικά της μουσικής. Συνθέτει μουσική για το θέατρο από το 1985. Από το 2009 ασχολείται ενεργά με τη φωτογραφία και video εγκαταστάσεις, με συχνή παρουσία σε ατομικές και ομαδικές εκθέσεις σε Ελλάδα, Κύπρο και Αυστρία. Έργα του υπάρχουν σε ιδιωτικές συλλογές στην Ελλάδα και στο εξωτερικό.
