Our Cosyfeet Shop Manager and Fitting Expert answers some of your frequently asked questions. How do I order strap extensions? If you have especially swollen feet we can supply matching strap extensions to lengthen the straps on most touch-fastening styles.

What fitting is Cosyfeet footwear? All our styles have an extra-wide, deep and roomy fitting of EEEEE+ for women and HH+ for men. Don’t worry if you don’t know the exact width of your feet because most of our styles are very adjustable. This means they can cope with a range of foot shapes and problems and are ideal for swollen feet.

What size should I order? Most customers find that if they order the shoe size they wore before experiencing swelling or problems (e.g. size 6) our footwear is wide and deep enough to provide the extra room they need. If you normally take a half size and we don’t offer a half size in the style you want, we recommend you order the smaller full size.

Which style is best for me?

To order Men’s strap extensions please quote MX followed by the style and colour.

Do I need to take care if I have diabetes? Yes - although we’re diabetic aware and offer footwear and socks with minimal seaming, not all of our products are suitable if you have diabetes so you need to make your own judgement or ask a medical advisor. Which sole type should I choose? All our footwear is relatively lightweight. However, if you need an extra-lightweight shoe, look for one with a feather symbol (see picture below). The soles on these styles are made from very lightweight, durable PU which is also flexible, shock-absorbing and offers good grip. These styles are also the best choice if your footwear needs to be built up as they can be easily modified and repaired.

How does your ‘hidden depth’ sole design work? The sole unit on our ‘hidden depth’ footwear allows the foot to sit below the sole line. This means that the extra depth is ‘hidden’ within the shoe so it still looks neat and streamlined.
