The Commission honours the men and women of the Commonwealth who died in the First and Second World Wars, ensuring they will never be forgotten. It is funded by six Member Governments. The Commission’s work began more than a century ago building cemeteries at 23,000 locations all over the world. Today, the work continues through the work of staff, supporters and volunteers who preserve this unique cultural, horticultural and architectural heritage and ensure that the stories of those who died are told.

This talk is the frst in a series which will highlight stories from the Commonwealth War Graves located across Norfolk. This talk is part of the Kantor Speakers Programme, supported through funding from the Kantor Foundation to the Commonwealth War Graves Foundation (CWGF). It aims to connect with community groups to explain the work of the CWGC and share the stories of the men and women they commemorate.
