The points arising from the forums will be collated and distributed to Convention participants later in the week. Please send them to Margie at margie@countrybumpkin.com.au EMBROIDERY AND THE DIGITAL AGE Do you have fears about online shopping? Can e-classes, forums, etc replace the social interaction of embroidery groups? How does this technology impact on what we do - and on what we will be doing in ten years’ time? EMBROIDERY AND HEALING We all know how therapeutic embroidery can be when we are unwell or grieving for a loved one. In this forum you are invited to share your experiences and hear from others who know the healing power of embroidery. MAKING A LIVING FROM EMBROIDERY It sounds like heaven – doing what you love and being paid for it! But how does it work? What do you need to know to break into the market? This discussion will reveal the experiences of successful ‘embroidery entrepreneurs’. KEEPING THE TRADITION ALIVE You are asked to share your ideas for passing on your skills and love of embroidery to the next generation in this forum. How do we inspire young ones who are exposed to so many other distractions? How can we encourage the teaching of embroidery in schools?
