Friends & Family!

To say this spring was an exciting time for us would be an understatement!

We can’t thank our team enough for the tremendous amount of hard work it took to convert the four 49th Parallel stores to Country Grocers.

We’d also like to thank our customers for their patience as we moved things around to open the doors in their communities as Country Grocer. We know change isn’t always easy and have a tremendous amount of respect for the history the Richmond family created in Ladysmith, Duncan, Cedar and Chemainus, and appreciated their guidance as we converted the stores.

As we move into summer, we look forward to the second annual Island Good Days June 23 to 25. This is a weekend for our Island suppliers, producers and farmers to showcase all they have to offer. Check out the schedule in store, on social media and in our June 23 flyer.

We’re also looking forward to the annual Cycle of Life Tour supporting hospice care on Vancouver Island. We can’t thank our suppliers enough for coming on board to support the cause and for our team members who are riding over the two-day, 200-kilometre trek! Check out the story on page 8 to learn more.

We hope everyone has an terrific summer filled with family, friends and of course, amazing food!
