DYLAN, CASH, AND THE NASHVILLE CATS: A NEW MUSIC CITY
Despite its reputation as a conservative town in the politically polarized 1960s and early 1970s, removed from the trends of popular music, Nashville was home to countless talented musicians. Bob Dylan’s decision to record there in 1966 proved to be a major catalyst for bringing artists from around the world, changing the cultural landscape of Music City.
