Slurry handling firm lands smart manufacturing award

Slurry handling machinery experts Storth are among the first recipients of the Made Smarter Awards, which celebrate excellence in manufacturing.

Storth received gold certification from the technology adoption programme – a government-funded and industry-led initiative helping SME manufacturers digitalise, decarbonise and drive growth.

The company used automation and robotics to transform its production process, helping to increase productivity, upskill staff and unlock R&D opportunities, ultimately enabling the business to achieve lights-out manufacturing for the first time.
