Sarah Ashleigh Designs Flower Preservation based in Buckinghamshire offers a full preservation process. Brides pick from a range of designs and shapes and post their bridal bouquets to Sarah shortly after their wedding. Sarah then captures the beauty of these bouquets forever by drying out the flowers and casting them in clear resin.

Some new shapes that Sarah has been working on include items that brides can use and enjoy every day as well as more statement pieces to display on a shelf or table. Examples include bottle stoppers, bookends and beautiful homewares like reed diffusers, lamps, coasters, ring holders and statement display arches – they’re the perfect way to continue to enjoy the wedding flowers forever. Larger statement pieces include table tops due for release in late 2023. Turn to page 15 to enjoy 5% off. www.sarahashleighdesigns.com; www.facebook.com/sarahashleighdesigns

In The Green

In The Green Sugarcraft Flowers based in Buckinghamshire is run by owner Amanda Hill who uses hand-crafted sugar flowers to decorate cakes. Each flower is made from the finest sugar paste and Amanda can replicate any variety of bloom. Here, she unveils her new flowers including freesia, sweetpea, and peonies, as well as classic roses with a lustre finish.

Amanda is launching some tutorials this summer (in June and July) where customers can learn how to make flowers from sugar paste. “This is a question that I’m asked a lot by brides and their mothers,” she tells us. “I can show why I prefer using certain pastes, and the secrets of colouring flowers to make them look realistic, all in one lesson. I can also explain about the equipment needed. I’m also launching my own brand of topquality stainless steel cutters that I use to make these flowers.” www.inthegreen.uk
