FIRST IMPRESSIONS Pear Tree Farm is a charming country cottage standing in landscaped gardens and fields extending around nine acres. A small and private retreat for intimate and bespoke two-or-a-few weddings, its speciality is elopement and micro nuptials. Located in the heart of the open Cheshire countryside, a five-minute drive from Knutsford and 10 minutes away from the motorway, the venue is easy to access.

GORGEOUS GROUNDS The large landscaped garden has several areas providing plenty of photo opportunities: a dedicated rose garden, a parterre, and a clematiscovered tunnel leading down to a duck pond, complete with decking and a trickling waterfall. The summer house can be found next to a small orchard home to a variety of fruit trees, including, of course, several pear trees. There are also nine acres of fields to explore, along with a small paddock with seating area and firepit beneath the stars.

TYING THE KNOT There are a selection of delightful, intimate ceremony areas available here. The Summer House sits in the gardens in the lee of an old weeping willow. The Paddock Ceremony area is set in a dip at the bottom of the small secluded paddock, a hidden seating area under the trees complete with twinkling lights. Finally, The Gold Room inside the house has beautiful hand-painted walls and an intricately painted ceiling. The room is furnished with antiques, including several grandfather clocks and a baby grand piano. The windows are dressed with sumptuous silk and velvet drapes and the stone open fireplace with crackling fire makes the perfect place for a secret winter wedding. All three spaces can host 16 nearest and dearest.

CELEBRATE IN STYLE Receptions take place in the Diamond Dining Room, so named because of its gold and cream diamond-design ceiling. The décor features a rich, deep burgundy and gold palette reminiscent of grand old theatres The table will comfortably seat 14 or a cosy 16. What’s more, the venue works with an excellent chef, who will come to the house to prepare, cook and serve a tailor-made menu.

A PLACE TO REST YOUR HEAD There are two exquisite en-suite guest bedrooms, with four-poster and canopied beds, bespoke hand-painted walls and ceiling, luxurious silks, voiles and velvet soft furnishings for you and two guests to enjoy. The all-white bridal suite includes a balcony overlooking the garden and a double bath surrounded by candles.
