This historical Georgian manor house hotel is set amidst eight acres of tranquil gardens and grounds making for a beautiful wedding location. There are secret gardens and hideaway settings, rolling lawns, manicured gardens and ornamental pergolas.
Named after its impressive fireplace, The Inglenook is perfect for a winter wedding. Also air-conditioned for summer, and with original 18th century features, its an elegant and versatile space. The Ballroom can accommodate up to 130 loved ones for the wedding breakfast and up to 200 for the evening. It can be dressed in almost any way you wish. Large doors open out into the cool, relaxed conservatory, and in the fine weather, your guests can enjoy the picturesque privacy of the walled garden.
Like The Ballroom, the Conservatory can be dressed to suit your vision. The venue’s team of talented and passionate chefs are renowned for using fresh, seasonal produce from their own kitchen gardens, all specially prepared. Later on, the events team will be on hand to create the perfect setting for a memorable night of music and dancing as your celebrations begin. Then, as the dancefloor comes to life, the chefs can prepare your choice of evening buffet or even a summer barbecue.
Here, you have the opportunity to make every inch of Rowton Hall yours. The Ballroom, Conservatory, Terrace Bar and grounds are just the beginning. From 12 noon on the day of the wedding or civil partnership until breakfast on the following day, the house and grounds are yours. Exclusive use means you can assign each of the individually-designed and decorated rooms to your guests and you can personalise your own menu. THE QUEEN AT CHESTER

The Queen at Chester is a Grade II-listed Italiante building, and has been hosting weddings for more than 150 years. Inside is a theatrical four-storey staircase with ornate iron balustrade, while outside there’s an elegant Italian terrace garden with marble arches, classical sculptures and lush foliage.
The Hotel features eight event areas, with two al fresco spaces and six banqueting suites, catering for every type of reception, civil ceremony and partnership. Built opposite Chester station to serve first-class rail passengers, the venue has an illustrious past and was said to be the first skyscraper of its time. Guests will also be following in the footsteps of some rather famous guests with a stay here. Since opening in 1860, it’s hosted none other than Charles Dickens, Cecil Rhodes and Lillie Langtry, to name but a few.
The Colonnades can accommodate 300 guests and is the perfect space for large ceremonies and receptions. Brimming with character, its high ceiling boasts a showstopping, gleaming chandelier. The Palazzo can hold 120 loved ones. Natural lights floods the space, which offers views over the Baltic Exchange Gardens. The Gardens in turn can accommodate 150 guests.
For more intimate “I dos,” The Victoria Room can host 60 nearest and dearest and is one of the hotel’s original lounges in the Grade II listed part of the building. As you’d expect, it’s brimming with Victorian character and features, again with views of the Baltic Exchange Gardens. The Disraeli Room is located on the first floor and is brimming with character and Victorian features, not forgetting those views of the lovely gardens. There’s room here for 25 of your nearest and dearest.
At the end of a wonderful day, you can retire to the honeymoon suite with its stunning four-poster bed and feature bath.

A classic, country, Victorian-era house, Shrigley Hall Hotel is set in more than 262 acres of beautiful grounds, including an 18-hole championship golf course. The William Turner Suite is located in the main building and features impressive crystal chandeliers and French windows. It has an adjoining private reception room overlooking the courtyard and private bar area. This Suite can host 100 loved ones for the “I dos,” and 140 for the reception. The most intimate of spaces is the Drawing Room, a beautiful space located in the main house with ornate ceilings and front-facing views of the golf course and beyond. It can play host to 50 of your nearest and dearest for the vows and wedding breakfast.
