When should I start thinking about booking my make-up artist, and do you have any tips for finding the right supplier? There’s no set rule on when to book your make-up artist, but I think one year in advance is enough. But like all wedding suppliers, book them as soon as possible if you find a company you adore – don’t let them be the one that got away.

To ensure you’re both on the same page when creating your desired look, arrange an informal meeting in person or virtually to get to know the supplier and discuss the finer details. Ask questions about the artist’s ethos behind their brand and how they’d describe their style to get a sense of who they are and their values.
