DANCE THE NIGHT AWAY

First Dance Studios has been providing dance lessons for couples and their wedding parties for more than 20 years and has taught over 2,000 couples at their dance studio in Woking, Surrey. New for 2023, First Dance Studios is launching a Valentine’s Couples Confidence Course. This hour-and-a-half workshop is designed for couples getting married in 2023 or 2024 and will cover concerns such as how to feel comfortable dancing together and a few basic dance steps to help you get used to being the centre of attention. The course is perfect for couples wanting to get confident on the dancefloor, for father and daughter dances and much more. The workshop will be taking place at the Woking dance studio at 2pm on Sunday 12th February, 2023. There is space for 10 couples, so get in touch early to secure your space.

WEDDING FAIR ALERT!

The Talbot, a historic wedding venue in the picturesque village of Ripley, is hosting a wedding fair. Situated between Heathrow and Gatwick, the 500-year-old property is just 30 minutes from Central London and boasts picturesque grounds, on-site parking facilities, 43 modern bedrooms, a restaurant and distinctive period features. It also has a licensed barn to say ‘I do’ in and an impressive archway that leads to a charming courtyard.

Dress designer, Felicity Westmacott has moved to a new address. Relocating from Reigate High Street to the high street in Dorking, Felicity creates bespoke gowns for brides-to-be as well as dresses for bridesmaids, children and mother-of-the-brides and grooms.

Felicity tells us more: “Twenty years ago, I ran a shop with my dear mum for a year after I left school. We sold handmade clothes and jewellery. Now, after 20 years of working from home, building my skills, brand and reputation, I’m finally back on a high street. As well as prestige, the new space will give me room to expand my team, have a stock of samples to view and help more brides realise their wedding dress dreams.”
