Situated within 16 acres of manicured grounds and rich countryside is the charming Hartsfield Manor. Boasting impressive views of the Surrey Hills, this luxury property has heaps of Victorian character and charm, including a historic arched door, a staircase, a feature fireplace and chandeliers.

Celebrate in style

Couples looking for an intimate setting to tie the knot will love The Brockham Suite, which has a fireplace, a private terrace and space for 40 friends and family. Large celebrations take place in The Lounge. Boasting high ceilings, a piano, an abundance of natural daylight coming in through the grand bay windows and room for 90 guests, this area is transformed for the evening reception to create space for 180 loved ones. There’s also the option for a buffet to be served in the adjoining small lounge to give friends and family an area to chat away from the dancefloor.

Hartsfield Manor provides couples with a complimentary menu tasting, use of the bridal suite and a changing room for the morning of the wedding.

BROOKLANDS MUSEUM, KT13 0QN

01932 858 005 www.brooklandsmuseum.com/venue-hire/weddings

Brooklands Museum opened in 1907 and has been through two World Wars, the Jet Age and beyond. It’s a place of great endeavour, achievements and has spawned many great pioneers, drivers, aviators and engineers. The happy couple and their guests will be able to browse the exhibits and get an insight into the venue’s wonderful history.

There are plenty of photograph opportunities, such as under the wings of the Concorde, the oldest remaining British motor racing track or next to remarkable motor racing vehicles. There is also the opportunity to book a driving experience on part of the old track in an exhilarating vintage car.

Celebrate in style

All function spaces are licensed for ceremonies, but the standout space is the Concorde, which is capable of holding 60 nearest and dearest.

The Art Deco Rooms are flooded with natural light and offer views of either the Motoring Village, Original Finishing Straight or the Aircraft Park.

Alternatively, the Vickers Suite can be used with space for 100 loved ones throughout the day, and The Bluebird Room can hold 80 friends and family for the ceremony and 100 for the evening celebration.

The largest space, The Napier Room, can accommodate 180 guests for the service and 250 for the reception.

The museum holds one wedding a day, ensuring couples have the team’s undivided attention. They’ll also receive a complimentary menu tasting and concessionary rates at some of the local hotels.

WOTTON HOUSE, RH5 6HS

01306 730 000 | www.wottonhouse.co.uk

Wotton House dates back to the 16th century when it was sold by Henry Owen to the Evelyn family. John Evelyn was inspired by what he had discovered on his travels and constructed an Italian garden and temple, designed by his cousin, Captain George Evelyn, which was soon joined by a parterre garden complete with an Italian fountain. Since then, the estate has been passed through the Evelyn family, who have all been passionate about preserving John’s legacy, whilst adding their own touches to the estate.

There are 13 acres of gardens to explore, which have been deemed worthy of protection and individually Grade II listed. Flowing peacefully through the estate is The River Tillingbourne, which had its own mill at one time, and has since become awash with aquatic plants and wildlife, including a family of ducks who come and go as they please.

Inside the hotel are several luxurious bedrooms and junior suites, a restaurant, leisure facilities and a range of wedding spaces.

Celebrate in style

The Grade II listed Italian gardens are fully licensed for civil ceremonies of up to 140 guests. The happy couple will say ‘I do’ underneath one of the two majestic temples, with panoramic views of the gardens.

The grand vaulted ceilings, pillars and centuries-old original marble fireplaces set a romantic tone for an indoor ceremony in The Old Library. This showstopping space is full of natural daylight shining through the Gothic windows and has Ancient Greek phrases written on the walls.

We love...

The dedicated wedding team at Wotton House will be on hand to help every step of the way to make sure the day is worry-free and full of lasting memories.

COLTSFORD MILL WEDDING VENUE, RH8 9DG

01883 716 354 | www.coltsfordmill-weddings.co.uk

Coltsford Mill Wedding Venue is a classic country barn with an elegant finish that’s bathed in natural light and offers panoramic views over 12 acres of beautiful countryside. Boasting two lakes, romantic bridges and flowing cascades fed by the river Eden, the property retains many of its original features, including a mill wheel and water pump, along with many wonderful photo opportunities.

We love...

Alternatively, The Watermill Barn is a contemporary oak-framed barn overlooking tranquil gardens and ornamental ponds and can accommodate up to 150 loved ones for the service and wedding breakfast.

The drinks reception can take place on the terrace, which offers marvellous views over the grounds, cascades and ornamental gardens, with wicker tables, chairs, patio heaters and large, canvas umbrellas.

GREAT EXPECTATIONS

Here at County Wedding Magazines and Events HQ we’re looking forward to kickstarting our Autumn wedding show season. From must-visit local fairs in some of the region’s best wedding venues to our larger Signature Wedding Shows, we can’t wait to welcome back our couples and help plan their wedding days.

Here’s what to expect when attending one of our events...

Whether you’re joyous that restrictions have passed, or are still a little hesitant, couples can rest assured our venues are continuing to maintain some of the government guidelines and measures to ensure everyone can feel comfortable and enjoy the day:

• Attendees will need to pre-register to attend events • There will be allocated time slots for visitors • All venues will also have enhanced cleaning procedures, with hand washing and sanitising facilities still available • Spaces between exhibition booths will be maintained to ease congestion • Optional face masks • Anyone with symptoms must refrain from visiting

Each event will boast a huge range of specialists who will be on hand to talk through your planning ideas and requirements; venues, bridal boutiques, photographers, florists, cake makers and more, there’s everything you could need to plan your wedding under one roof.

On the day refreshments will be available to purchase from each of the venue’s on-site restaurants, bars and cafés, and attending our exhibitions is free!

For more information on any of our exhibitions visit County Wedding Events’ website.

We look forward to seeing you at one of our events.
