My latest Mai Collection depicts its cool, elegant and stylish wearer by allowing their confidence to shine through. The effortless and understated designs offer something very individual, from a fun knee-length sequin number worn over a skin tonal slip dress matched to the bride’s own skin tone, to a two-piece trouser look and a flattering off-the-shoulder dress. Meet the expert: Kate Norris is the owner of Queen Bee Bridal, a wedding dress boutique located in the beautiful riverside hamlet of Mapledurham Village in Oxfordshire (on the Berkshire borders.) Specialising in pre-loved and designer off-the-peg wedding dresses, they’re also the official stockist of Lillian West dresses and prices start from £850 up to £1,800.

Think romantic appliqué, delicate off-the-shoulder straps, boned lace bodies, spaghetti straps and illusion necklines teamed with sheer illusion sleeves and you get the idea of some of the key bridal trends for this summer.

It’s worth considering a designer dress that’s been worn once, or a sample because some of the trends are timeless so you get to revamp them at a fraction of the cost! We invite customers to sell a dress with us as long as it’s less than two years old and the original recommended retail price was more than £1,600. We also sell a large range of new veils, jewellery, hair accessories and lace boleros, plus we’re an official stockist of Rainbow Club shoes who offer a full shoe dying service.
