Be inspired by this dreamy outdoor wedding shoot

Release your inner boho bride and let the trees, wide blue skies and nature be your inspiration. This styled shoot shows how with a wealth of creative ideas; perfect for free-spirited couples dreaming of a chilled al fresco celebration. Outdoor wedding venue Wellington Wood with its meadow circle ceremony area and naked tipi provided the perfect setting for local creatives to work their magic. Based around a fresh, modern theme with dreamcatchers and pretty boho vibes, the styling included natural elements and textures complemented by soft peach and pastel hues.

Photographer and owner of the venue Vicky Plum explains, “The idea began with a modern dreamcatcher backdrop symbolising the sharing of dreams and connections for a relaxed wedding surrounded by nature. The light, mood and temperature at outdoor weddings transition throughout the day and we wanted to show these changing elements by including a variety of décor and styling from the ceremony to the ‘just-married’ motorbike farewell.”

Ribbons, symbolising connection, featured throughout the day from the dreamcatchers to the handfasting ties for the ceremony, to the table backdrop, place names and bouquet. Other elements such as the cake and ethically sourced handmade dresses also echoed the theme.

Make-up artist Ashley Kay created a naturally flawless bridal look including pops of coral and neutral tones for the eyes.

Noa fun and flirty two-piece for the celebration and just-wed vibes. Hair stylist Stacie Goodwin opted for two takes on the versatile boho updo, one half down to reflect the free-flowing feel of the ceremony dress and the other a relaxed, textured low bun.
