The business is currently offering 10 lucky couples a free music planning toolkit to make the whole wedding process much more manageable. Not only that, but we have playlists for a variety of themes from boho, country garden, steampunk and contemporarystyle music.”

This kit is presented in an eco-friendly kraft card envelope and includes seven professionally-printed playlists that create the ideal music guide with top tips, songs to avoid and the perfect music to walk down the aisle to.

EDITOR LOVES

This issue is pack with beautiful inspiration and when I first saw the images from this styled shoot, I knew it would be perfect for our readers! A team of local suppliers came together to showcase their talent and created the perfect style for a vintage-themed wedding at Newstead Abbey in Nottinghamshire. Hannah Shearman Photography captured the most beautiful images that demonstrated the opulent venue perfectly.

I loved how the team created sustainable choices to prove that couples don’t have to compromise on the wedding look if they want a more eco-friendly day. Shoot coordinator Samantha at Willow and Rust Weddings says, “I wanted to create something using a rich and luxurious colour palette using teal greens, rich pinks and reds to match my vintage-glamour aesthetic. The surroundings at Newstead Abbey are beautiful and were perfect for this concept.”

THE PERFECT DAY

Cripps & Co is a family-run business that specialises in restoring old buildings and transforming them into the perfect wedding venues full of character and charm. The team are excited to announce their new location, Grangefields, which is located in the beautiful Derbyshire countryside.

The rustic barn has just started to host weddings and the experienced team has taken time to plan every detail, including speakers in the toilets (so nobody misses the speeches), colourchanging lights on the dancefloor and a state-of-the-art Funktion-One sound system. The ceremony space features 150 handmade-lead windows, hundreds of candles, fairylights and a log fire for the colder months.

At this property, couples won’t have to worry about the British weather as the glassfronted Dutch Barn has been designed to hold drink receptions with 150 people when it rains thanks to the raised veranda.

The venue has a glass-fronted show kitchen with a French rotisserie, a rotating wood-fired pizza oven, and a charcoal barbecue as the centrepiece. Each dish is created using the best ingredients and is just exceptional.

Chrome lights taken from an old warship lights up the seven-meter-long oak bar and greenery hangs from the ceiling to create a magical atmosphere.

The venue’s focal point is the sheltered courtyard, which features an Argentinian Asado, an outdoor ceremony space that doubles up as a bar and the old cow troughs filled with ice and drinks. This location comes to life at night and is illuminated with festoon lights, flares and fire pits for toasting marshmallows.

For all the wine lovers out there, the venue’s in-house wine buyer has an excellent established relationship with artisan winemakers around Europe and visits every producer in person to buy the product straight from the vineyards.
