Situated within the historic Winchester House on the banks of the River Thames, this period-style library has a dark and classic interior. Launching in Autumn 2022, Oceandiva London will be UK’s first CO2neutral venue on the Thames. Whether moored or sailing down the river, the vessel will provide an impressive backdrop with spaces finished to an incredibly high standard creating a stunning backdrop for your celebration.
Guests will embark and disembark Oceandiva London from Butler’s Wharf, London Bridge, Tower Bridge, Canary Wharf, Greenwich and ExCel. With a joint investment of over £25 million, this will be the largest floating event space on the Thames measuring 86m in length and 17m in breadth. The vessel will boast three interior decks and two exterior decks making it perfect for lavish weddings for up to 1,500 guests standing and 600 seated.
Walking into the Owl & Hitchhiker is like walking into Hogwarts. With a feel of magic in the air, old arcade games and hanging hairdryers above the bar, this wacky wonderland of a pub is the perfect setting for a weird and wonderful wedding.
Eddie’s bar and lounge is where your informal reception can take place. With two adjoining rooms, the space allows your guests to enjoy your wedding breakfast in one area before moving to the next room for the party. With its parlour-style bar, you can enjoy homemade cocktails until the early hours of the morning. The landing located just outside Eddie’s Bar is the ideal spot for canapes and champagne. Using the landing offers space for even more guests, and the resident DJ is guaranteed to end your day with a bang.
Intimate gatherings can take place in a private room on the venue’s first floor with an adjoining parlour. Exposed wood and tiled floors, large sash windows, gold fixtures, warm lighting and two ornate fireplaces create a romantic setting.
When it comes to your food, you’ll be spoiled for choice here with six menus to choose from, each with an English and Caribbean twist.
