1.1 Letter from the Creative Director

“Every single shot, every single time you steam, whatever you do, you have to do it with all of your soul.” At Café 486 we promise you the best coffee, the best desserts, and the best baristas to make your visit unforgettable. As a customer you are valued and appreciated with every swirl of foam and every drizzle of chocolate—it is our job to serve you the best beverages! Our brand stands for the tradition behind our practices and the community in which we developed and we hope that our core values are expressed in the special quality of our goods. 감사합니다.

1.2 The Brand

The Café 486 brand is one of intimate ties to its traditions and roots. Café 486 represents its Korean heritage through its brand and refreshments. The logo represents the structure of a Korean syllable— made up of smaller constituents as similarly found in the letters of Korean Hangeul. The logo is stamped to reflect the importance of specialty—the stamp is distinct and exhibits a texture much like the organic features of coffee itself. This brand represents us uniquely in an industry that relies on the securities of large-name companies. We wish to break into this trend to offer a comfortable environment to anyone who seeks it.
