Dyslexic City is a Virtual Reality mobile game application that provides firsthand experience on dyslexia. The player is placed in an environment built to simulate the experience of having dyslexia while simultaneously completing given tasks. This work is sponsored by RMIT University Vietnam and game engine Unity. It is completed in collaboration with two other teammate, Hai and Phuong. This work has been presented at Asia Pacific Dyslexia Festival 2017.
Our Vision Dyslexic City aims to provide a firsthand experience on dyslexia in order to raise awareness and empathy on dyslexia among non-dyslexics.
Gameplay The player will take a job as a delivery man. There will be missions the player has to complete in order to complete ‘the job'. Hints will be given to help the player if they were to counter difficulties.
STAGES CONSTRUCTION The app consists of three stages, ascending in difficulty. Each features simulation of a common dyslexia symptom. With each level, the map expands and tasks increase. Each stage features a new map size and increases in difficulty. The player has to complete more orders. Hints get a bit more vague, with more instructions.

My personal identity is based on my obsession with drawing severed arms after I completed the horror journal. In addition, my favorite color has always been red. Severed arms and blood seems to make the right combo for me. This project is featured on RMIT University's Design Showcase Website.
This is a data visualization project on the subject of horror movies from the 1920s-2015. Horror is a genre but within it, there are many sub-genres and in those sub-genres, there are sub-sub genres. This book contains pop-ups and illustrations of each sub genres and sub-sub genres to help others get a better understanding of horror movies in general. This project is featured on RMIT University's Design Showcase Website at design.rmit.edu.vn.
Engravings The photo book was for the children of Tong Phuoc Phuc shelter in Nha Trang. I worked on this project through RMIT Design Club for an alumni who wished to create memories for the children through this photo book. So we took a trip to Nha Trang, got to know the children, spent time with them and took pictures of our play date at the beach. The concept of a photoshoot on the beach comes from the idea of foot prints on sand. Despite the fact that sand is a 'temporary marking surface' as waves come and sweep everything away, we want these children to be more than that.
Flufferies Flufferies is a pet cafe for young children. The branding is aimed to be cute, fun and vibrant. Using the concept of basic origami for children, I create a series of characters to represent the brand.
Logo & Characters Design
Stationary Line The design is aimed to be fresh and vibrant. I chose 3 common fruits with a vibrant color scheme and created a series of illustrative products. To be able to publish a stationary line in the future is my dream. I hope to be able to showcase and share my love with stationaries with many other stationary fanatics.
Roman Bodoni The aim of this project is to present one of the most iconic typefaces given by lecturers in the most creative way possible. I chose Bodoni after a long time contemplating. Through this booklet, I turn the Bodoni family into humans and install a personality into Roman Bodoni. The booklet is the collection of moments within Roman Bodoni's life and journey to become a great fashion designer.
