October 7, 2013, was the perfect day for a golf tournament in Nashville.

We had an incredible turnout for the CPA 18th Annual Golf Classic benefitting students at Christ Presbyterian Academy. Our largest tournament to date, 124 players and sponsors arrived at Westhaven Golf Club on an exemplary fall morning. The day began with lunch provided by Bread & Company and a warm-up before hitting the links. After Headmaster Richard Anderson blessed the day, 31 foursomes took to the course for a noon shotgun start. Immediately following play, everyone congregated

in the clubhouse to cap off the event with dinner and an awards reception catered by Moe’s Original BBQ. The flight and on-course contest winners were individually recognized and awarded, and all players, sponsors, and volunteers were thanked for their participation in the 18th Annual Golf Classic. Through sponsorships, player registrations, and donations, we raised $38,233 for the CPA Annual Fund, making this our most successful golf tournament. Thank you to all of our sponsors, players, and volunteers. We look forward to seeing everyone again next year for the 19th Annual Golf Classic!
