Awards & Highlights We s t h a v en Golf Clu b O c tob er 6, 2014

A time of community, fellowship, and support, the 19th Annual CPA Golf Classic was a tremendous success. Sponsors, players, and volunteers gathered together on Monday, October 6, 2014, at Westhaven Golf Club in support of academics, athletics, and fine arts at Christ Presbyterian Academy. Following an early downpour, players and volunteers alike arrived at Westhaven for a great day of golf, rain or shine. The clouds cleared before registration, where players were greeted by CPA Academic Dean Katherine Koonce, Artistic Director Paula Flautt, and Athletic Director Mike Ellson. Players checked in and received their complimentary gifts—Nike Sport Lite Golf Bags, monogrammed with the CPA logo. Players enjoyed Jersey Mike’s for lunch as they warmed up on the M.A.Y. Construction Company Driving Range and the Franklin

American Mortgage Company Putting Green. The fleet of golf carts took to the course at noon for the scramble tournament. Players met Headmaster Nate Morrow on the 14th hole for a surprise “Red Tee” and participated in four on-course contests sponsored by Pinnacle Financial Partners. After a quick afternoon rain shower, players completed their rounds, and gathered in the clubhouse for dinner, catered by Logan’s Roadhouse, and the awards reception. Through sponsorships, player registrations, and donations, the 19th Annual CPA Golf Classic raised $43,690 for academics, athletics, and fine arts at the Academy. Thank you to all of the sponsors, players, and volunteers for another amazing tournament. We hope to see you next year for the 20th Annual CPA Golf Classic!
