Emerson joins Eurovent Middle East

HVACR association says Emerson coming on board adds to a growing group of industry players supporting joint initiatives in the fields of regulatory development, education and awareness raising

EUROVENT Middle East said global technology and engineering company, Emerson has become its newest member. Making the announcement through a January 17 Press release, Eurovent said that by becoming a member of the HVACR association, Emerson has joined a growing group of industry players supporting joint initiatives in the fields of regulatory development, education and awareness raising.

Eurovent said Emerson comes with 130 years of corporate history. With more than 85,000 employees and 170 manufacturing plants the world over, it provides innovative solutions for customers in industrial, commercial and residential markets, Eurovent said. Emerson’s Commercial and Residential Solutions business is dedicated to human comfort and health, protecting food quality and safety, advancing energy efficiency and creating sustainable infrastructure, Eurovent said.

Abstracts should consist of 300 words or less, ASHRAE said, adding that if accepted, final conference papers (eight pages, maximum) are due on June 12. Abstracts, ASHRAE said, can be submitted here. It suggested that those interested in the conference and the call for abstracts could get more information by visiting ashrae.org/ICERD8 has demonstrated its commitment and capability of providing an open, transparent and effective platform for joint initiatives of the industry. Emerson has always emphasized corporate social responsibility. With our education and training activities, we support critical capacity building in the region. The time has come to join forces with all the other members for the benefit of the region’s socio-economic development.”
