Create: Exterity AvediaStream

TVgateways take terrestrial, cable or satellite video and audio, and makes it available over an IP network as content streams of any definition.

AvediaStream Encoders are added to deliver channels from fixed video sources such as Blu Ray players, DVD or digital video capture devices. Control: AvediaServer, the multi-user IPTV management system, allows full control of what content is available, where it can be seen and by whom. Play: Content is delivered to any screen using AvediaPlayer Receivers, or to the enterprise desktop via Artio PC and MAC content clients.

AvediaStream TVgateways AvediaStream TVgateways capture live digital and radio from any terrestrial, satellite or cable source and streams it directly across an IP network. Using SAP announcements, TVgateways build channel lists and TVgateways supply multiple channels at any resolution from a single blade, delivering lower cost and power consumption per channel. Multicast and Unicast options enable easier channel creation and delivery from a single device and, due to the flexibility of IP networks, reduces the overall cost of distributing multiple channels into an organisation. IPTV system management through AvediaServer lets network administrators simultaneously manage multiple broadcast streams and devices.

AvediaStream Encoders Exterity Encoders stream live and prerecorded video and audio over an existing IP network and seamlessly integrate with any Exterity IPTV solution or industry standard IPTV equipment. Offering variable bit rate encoding, multiple input and connection points, there is an AvediaStream Encoder suitable to handle every resolution, AV source or format option for any IPTV installation.

The Exterity Encoder range contains eight 3G, SD and HD Encoders each with its own audio, video and encoding capabilities.

AvediaStream Encoders create a single MPEG channel from the output of various video devices. These include video cameras, DVD/Blu-ray players, digital signage systems, personal computers or set-top boxes delivering premium TV channels.

AvediaStream Chassis Exterity AvediaStream TVgateway, Encoder and Transcoder blades must be installed in an AvediaStream Chassis. Designed to meet a number of organisational and budget requirements, AvediaStream chassis are all hot swap enabled, allowing removal and replacement of AvediaStream blades without the need to power down the whole unit, saving time and avoiding disruption to other blades operating in the same environment.

AvediaPlayer Receivers Exterity AvediaPlayer Receivers are compact HD ready set-top boxes automatically provisioned to connect any screen to an existing IP network, enabling the receipt of live or recorded content. With centralised administrator control from the multi-service AvediaServer, AvediaPlayer Receivers, uniquely Power Over Ethernet (PoE) capable, are easy to install with intuitive and customisable user interfaces.

Exterity Receivers can display content as a video wall. Each individual screen requires direct connection to a dedicated Receiver, resulting in no limit to the number of screens used or formation of the video wall.

AvediaServer An enterprise-class platform, AvediaServer offers peerless levels of functionality, total system customisation and flexibility.

The unique structure of AvediaServer, combining a choice of three platform and software options, including a virtual machine option, creates the most adaptable AvediaServer to yet. A variety of hardware and software options means there is a suitable AvediaServer for all sizes of IPTV installations, ranging from smaller schools and hotels to large multinational corporate environments.

AvediaServer enables system administrators to edit assets, create schedules of content and Video on Demand (VOD) libraries, it includes a channel monitor and content import, export and back-up functionality.

Artio Portal Artio Portal provides IPTV system administrators the tools to improve the power and flexibility of enterprise IPTV middleware for organisations across a range of industry sectors. Artio facilitates the creation and management of customised TV, VoD, radio and interactive pages - tailored for individuals or groups of viewers with a consistent user interface across multiple client devices, providing flexibility for user engagement to go far beyond what was previously possible in the enterprise IPTV space.

Artio Portal enables organisations to provide specific User Interfaces for different groups of users, enabling them to fully unlock the possibilities of enterprise IPTV. Artio Mulitview With Artio Multiview, a flexible mosaic of multiple video streams can be viewed on one screen, letting system administrators and end users see the whole content picture at once. Multiview incorporates all the viewing features of the Artio desktop player with simple user access via Windows PC browser. Multiview is provisioned and centrally controlled through the AvediaServer.
