Pebble Beach Systems has become a leading automation supplier across the Middle East, based on a strong track record for delivering on time and on promise. Automation systems are installed at many key sites across the Middle East with engineering support based in the UAE and Jordan. Under Pebble Beach Systems automation control, Dolphin delivers highly automated, frame accurate multi-channel playout and ingest capability, and integrates seamlessly as a standalone device into a system which might also incorporate bestof-breed video server, graphics or captioning devices for prime channels. It can also act as a component of a hybrid channel, mixing Dolphin with best-of-breed discrete devices. This means that the broadcaster can choose the optimum technology for the budgetary and technical needs of each channel. Crucially, operators are presented with the same user interface whatever the underlying channel technology across the entire system and a single system-wide database avoids creating operational silos and simplifies channel control.

sTiNgRAy

Pebble Beach Systems’ self-contained channel in a box solution, Stingray, leverages Pebble Beach Systems’ bestof-breed technology to deliver a full HD ingest and playout solution for systems up to six channels. Based on proven 64bit architecture, Stingray incorporates the unmatched flexibility of Pebble Beach Systems’ Marina enterprise automation and the power and robustness of its Dolphin integrated channel device. In addition to hosting simple clip-based channels, Stingray is designed to handle complex reactive channels featuring late-breaking changes and dynamic schedules.

oRCA

Orca is Pebble Beach Systems’ softwaredefined virtualised IP channel solution. As a software-only virtual implementation of Pebble’s Dolphin integrated channel device, it is ideally suited to meet the needs of centralcast hubs, service providers, multichannel operators, sports broadcasters and corporates. Orca enables the deployment of IP-based channels almost instantly, without the burden of racks of complicated hardware, or weeks or months of setup and provisioning.
