a revivalist pledge

We believe God the Father is a consuming fire, the Father of lights, and the source of all true revival. We believe Christ is the resurrection and the life. He revives all He touches. He came to set fire to the earth in a great kingdom revival. He is the sacred flame that ignites, the divine river that renews, the holy wine that intoxicates, the sovereign wind that blows where it pleases. He is the spirit that regenerates, sanctifies, illuminates, and revives. He is the Spirit of Divinity, pure, powerful, and miraculous. Where He is there is freedom and life. We believe the word of God is alive and powerful. It is the divine revelation, the holy wisdom, it wounds and heals, kills and makes alive. It revives us, causing our hearts to burn. It instructs us with the fire of wisdom, giving us the mind of Christ. It is a lamp to our feet and a light to our path. We believe prayer is the language of the heart that longs for revival. It is the incense of adoration, the cry of desperation, the shout of faith. It is effectual and powerful to bring heaven fire to earth. We believe the church is the community of Christ. It is the fireplace in which His fire burns, the keeper of the flame. It is the lampstand that shines. It is the light of the world. The church was birthed with fire on the day of Pentecost. That fire must never die but burn ever brighter until the coming of that great and glorious day. It cannot be contained. It must be spread until the entire world is aflame for Christ. - Dr. Brian Simmons

INTRODUCTION

I grew up in a Christian home with first-generation Christian parents who did a great job teaching me and my siblings about Jesus. I went to church on Sunday mornings, vbs at least three times a summer, and spent my youth days playing chubby bunny and sardines at bible study. I became overly involved, as youth group seemed like one of the only acceptable activities for me to be a part of in my teen years per my parents’ preference. Unfortunately, this didn’t benefit me the way my parents were hoping; I attended meeting after meeting and ended up viewing Christianity as a boring, repetitive, behavioral interaction rather than a relationship. I knew of God but I didn’t know His heart. I loved Jesus but didn’t know how to allow Him to love me, so as I aged and experienced life I spent more time living in shame than living as one who is loved. As a result, I became extremely calloused, responsible, independent, and strong-willed. I was always pretty guarded and surface-level with everyone. I struggled to follow anyone’s lead — including God. I could say I trusted Him and mean it, but that only came from a place of performance. It appeared as if I knew His word and it looked like I had a relationship with Him. Turns out I was pretty good at performing and acting, so I decided to pursue a career on the stage. In college, I studied music as a vocal performance major. I eventually wanted to travel the world as one of America’s most talented leading lyric sopranos. I dreamed of performing operas by day and then sneaking into jazz bars late in the evening to enjoy myself in a smoky, relaxed, less-sophisticated environment. I gave a lot to that dream: hours of practice, stressful college semesters. I even became extremely anorexic, so I could look and sing the part. That dream didn’t come to be. I should have known that any dream with the goal of performance would have an expiration date. After college didn’t work out, my identity was destroyed. Everything I had worked so hard to accomplish was thrown in the trash. The tools I learned as a kid - hard work, self-reliance, isolation - didn’t help me. So naturally, I looked for acceptance and a rebound. This threw me into an extremely dysfunctional relationship, in which I exchanged my old tools for a set of new ones: victimization, cowardice, fear, and anxiety, all while shame was slowly still stealing my dreams and peace. ~5~

REVIVAL LIFEST YLE by Christina Andriese

It’s hard to imagine someone as strong-willed and independent as I was, willfully involved in a relationship with physical and emotional abuse. But that’s exactly where I found myself. It’s amazing how someone who hasn’t experienced peace in such a long time will justify why their life is chaotic, as if they didn’t miss that peace at all. Being manipulated and living in fear day after day bred more shame in my life. I became so miserable that even in the face of death, I didn’t have a will to live. But then I had something to live for. I became pregnant with my daughter. Survival rose up in me, and I finally grew desperate… for her sake. Desperation led me to stand up for myself and walk away from the situation as well as the fear and shame I had agreed to live in. To my surprise, leaving him wasn’t the end of my life like he had threatened. It was just the beginning. Painfully broke with a new baby, mortgage payments, and worthless tools — everything about life at that time seemed so unhealthy and desperate. But I knew that being alive was in itself a miracle. I also realized that all the ways of operating I had tried in the past didn’t and would never work. So… my heart was primed and ready to receive the kindness of the Lord. I remember vividly the night Holy Spirit spoke 2 Corinthians 5:17 over me, telling me that old things had passed away, and He was making me a new creation. That meant I didn’t have to perform anymore. That meant I could lean on Him, that I did not have to do everything on my own. That meant freedom to dream again about the life I wanted to live and the kinds of things I wanted to do. Instead of giving myself to fear and captivity, I could give myself to love and freedom. It was not long after that point when Jesus showed me how good He is at exchanging beauty for our shame. Ian and I started dating and he treated both me and Aria with such dignity and love; it was like breathing for the first time. We were engaged and married within two years of meeting each other. And since then, I have experienced the transformation of living as a servant of God to having a friendship with Him. The last couple of years of my life have been beautiful, as Jesus has replaced all my bad tools for good ones — freedom, love, grace, authority, joy, and servant-hood. There’s no need to perform or pretend because Truth is so liberating. Now, I’m in the midst of living my dream: being a mom and raising kids that don’t just go to church, but truly love Jesus. Together, we dream about bringing heaven to earth. My capacity has gone from barely having hope for survival to dreaming about all cultures coming to the knowledge of Jesus. God has given my family a heart to see nations transformed by His goodness and the hearts of the lonely met with friendship, the destitute in a home, the poor fed, the enslaved free, governments surrendering to Jesus, the barren lands producing fruit, and every heart satisfied by His love.

Radical means:

Let love be your purpose for changing the world. Christina ANDRIESE

In three years of public ministry, Jesus turned the world upside down. He challenged the status quo, made friends and enemies. He was found guilty of treason against the government yet every person that came to him sick, tormented, hungry, or marginalized was changed forever. Both history and time were permanently changed. He introduced people to another way of living. He changed the script right in front of them and confronted even the good guys view of life and government. In essence, He said, “The point of it all, comes down to love.” This is why John 3:16 is so powerful. Write the verse here from memory:

Love gives but doesn’t stop there. Because of the nature of love it changes things. Write John 3:17 here:

This kind of love - love that gives, saves, and rescues - is Jesus’ specialty. The woman at the well from John 4 met this love when she met Jesus. She was searching for a love that would rescue her from her pain, her isolation, her choices. She didn’t know that kind of love actually existed and she didn’t expect to come face to face with it on her way to draw water. Read John 4:1-30. Write down the verses or portions of scripture that stick out to you:

CHAPTER 1 — Revival lifestyle

LISTENING PRAYER Now, ask the Lord for more insight into what happened that day. Use your imagination to connect to the power in the exchange that happened between Jesus and this woman. What did the Lord show you?

We often refer to the woman from John 4 as “the woman at the well”. But early church history research teaches us that she wasn’t originally called by her sin or position. (Thank God I am not “the woman in her bed” since that’s where I choose to write.) Her name was Photini. After her encounter with Jesus, she led her entire village to Christ. She was one of the early church’s greatest apostles to walk the face of the earth. Entire cities came to the Lord because of her. She led emperor Nero’s brother to Jesus and in response, Nero tried to kill her by putting her in a furnace for three days; she walked out unscathed. She was finally martyred with three women who were traveling with her spreading the Gospel. The day she met Love marked her in such a way that she was forever changed and compelled to live differently. Love caused her to burn in a way that a furnace couldn’t. Love was her reason for changing the world. I propose to you that our encounters with Jesus should do the same. The byproduct of choosing to love is influence. God knows He can trust you because in saying “yes” to love, you say “no” to ego, pride, status, and selfishness. Like Photini, you are a carrier of the love of God - a carrier of revival! Isaiah 12:3 in the Passion Translation says, “With triumphant joy you will drink deeply from the wells of Salvation.” The word ‘wells’ can also be translated as ‘fountains’. Through Christ, Christians are living wells of salvation; we are containers that bring the water of life to others. We are wells, carriers, messengers, keepers, and releasers of revival.

REVIVAL LIFEST YLE by Christina Andriese

We left off in our journey with this truth: anyone who has encountered the love of God is meant to be a revivalist. Say it with me out loud:

”I am a carrier of revival! I was born to burn! Today I am going to see how far love will take me!” This is true to the extent that we surrender fully to the heart and plans of the Lord. Let’s look at what love requires from scripture. “17 As Jesus started on his way, a man came running up to him. Kneeling down in front of him, he cried out, “Good Teacher, what one thing am I required to do to gain eternal life?” 18 Jesus responded, “Why do you call me good? Only God is truly good. 19 You already know the commandments: ‘Do not murder, do not commit adultery, do not steal, do not give a false testimony, do not cheat, and honor your father and mother.’” 20 The man said to Jesus, “Teacher, I have carefully obeyed these laws since my youth.” 21 Jesus fixed his gaze upon the man, with tender love, and said to him, “Yet there is still one thing in you lacking. Go, sell all that you have and give the money to the poor. Then all of your treasure will be in heaven. After you’ve done this, come back and walk with me.” Completely shocked by Jesus’ answer, he turned and walked away very sad, for he was extremely rich.” - Mark 10:17-21 (TPT) Write out verse 21 here:

This young man was given a special invitation to follow Jesus. He could have been the thirteenth disciple but he couldn’t live without his money. It wasn’t that he didn’t know how to love, he just didn’t know how to love the right thing. He was accustomed to a lifestyle that was familiar and comfortable, possibly even predictable and safe. He knew what to expect, how to perform and be self-sustained. He developed patterns of success and performance by following rules. But he did not know how to rely on someone else. He was unfamiliar with vulnerability and dependency so he couldn’t say ‘yes’ fully. I love the description in verse 21: Jesus fixed his gaze upon the man, and with tender love spoke to Him. I know the look of tender love from Jesus. I’ve seen it many times. Love precedes the full ‘yes’ in our hearts. Love comes before surrender. Love is our introduction. Love is our reference point and our purpose. Love is where holiness becomes attractive and gets developed.

THE MANDATE FULL SURRENDER Authority comes in the encounter. Power comes in the commission. Our authority is always contingent upon our surrender to Him and His mission. 1. Fearless a. Galatians 1:10 (NIV) - “Am I now trying to win the approval of human beings, or of God? Or am I trying to please people? If I were still trying to please people, I would not be a servant of Christ.” b. Proverbs 29:25 (NIV) - The fear of man will prove to be a snare 2. Rightly identified a. Ephesians 1:4-5 - Loved, not liked b. Ephesians 1: 7 - Inherent value, not earned c. Ephesians 1:11-13 - Accepted, not rejected 3. Motivated by love a. Mark 12:30-31(NIV) - The one who invented love caused it to be a pillar where life flows b. Mark 15:34 (AMP) - Love gives way to healthy dependence c. “And the ninth hour Jesus cried with a loud voice Eloi, Eloi, lama Sabachthani? Which means my God; my God why have you forsaken me? {Deserted me, leaving me helpless and abandoned}” d. Colossians 3:12 - Gives way to holiness

God, I will make war with everything that seeks to usurp the inward flame of devotion in my life. Lou ENGLE

REVIVAL LIFEST YLE by Christina Andriese

Mark 14:1-9 recounts a story of love and surrender. Mark writes that Jesus was in Bethany, chilling at the table in the home of a friend when a familiar woman came with a jar of very expensive perfume, made of pure nard. She broke the jar and poured the perfume on his head. Some of those present were saying indignantly to one another, “Why this waste of perfume? It could have been sold for more than a year’s wages and the money given to the poor.” And they rebuked her harshly. “Leave her alone”, said Jesus. “Why are you bothering her? She has done a beautiful thing to me. The poor you will always have with you, and you can help them any time you want. But you will not always have me. She did what she could. She poured perfume on my body beforehand to prepare for my burial. Truly I tell you, wherever the gospel is preached throughout the world, what she has done will also be told, in memory of her.” Great teachers have shared about this passage of scripture and Jesus’ words are true - her legacy of love lived on past her. However, if we read these words as a story and never acknowledged the invitation, we will have missed the significance. This woman barged into an environment where she wasn’t invited. Amidst men who didn’t approve of her she approached Jesus, the only man who ever treated her with kindness, and worshipped Him with such extravagance that she wasted her livelihood - her retirement plan - on him. She gave a gift that cost her something and it became worship to the Lord. It ministered to Him. Read 1 Chronicles 21:18-24 about King David and write about how this part of his life connects here:

~32~

CHAPTER 2 — Full surrender of a revivalist

Similar to this woman who gave extravagantly, David recognized he needed to give an offering to the Lord that was extravagant. One with a cost. King David replied to a generous offer, “No, I insist on paying the full price. I will not take from the Lord what is yours, or sacrifice a burnt offering that costs me nothing.” I will not offer something that costs me nothing. Here we have the king of Israel who understood what it meant to be a priest to the Lord, to minister to God. David knew that his offering - his gift - should cost him something. There is an exchange that happens in surrender. I suggest that change happens the moment we say ‘yes’ and are willing to risk something we treasure for the sake of love Like the rich young ruler, the woman at Bethany, and King David in the field. They had to be willing to risk something important to them as an expression of their love for their King. Could this be what happens as we worship? Could this be the invitation available for every human being, or is it limited to these three? Could it be that destinies, inheritances, miracles, and transformation hang off the floors of heaven, intended for our reach, as we decide whether or not we are going to give extravagantly and choose to be all in? What exchange do you feel the Lord is calling you to make with Him in this moment? What will you give without any expectation of return?

Like the woman who anointed Jesus with expensive oil, is it possible that the love that is exchanged in this moment would also be spoken about for generations? Is it imaginable that it could change history? Write your honest answer here:

PRAYER OF SURRENDER: God has put revival in me through the resurrection of Jesus Christ and the power of the Holy Spirit burning in me.

By faith in Christ, I declare today that any hopelessness I have been partnering with is cut off.

The wilderness season I’ve been wallowing in is finished. Aimless wandering is done. Fear of man is silenced. Isolation has had its last day.

Pridefulness is over. I consider compromise to be disgusting. Every destructive habit designed to waste my calling I command to die in the name of Jesus!

I confess an old posture as a spectator and I choose a new posture of engagement.

I choose to love the last, love the lost, and love the least. I choose a posture of engagement with the world!

Spirit of unbelief, I command you to be removed in Jesus’ name.

Every yoke working against spiritual growth in my life, break now in the name of Jesus!

Every area of incomplete deliverance in my life, receive complete deliverance by fire in the name of Jesus!

Holy Ghost fire destroy every work of darkness in my life! I carry revival. I am a living flame of love.

I am a soul winner for Christ. I come against the lie that I will never be ready. There is nothing holding me back! I was born to live like this!

I position myself right now in full surrender to the will, the love, and the plan

of God on my life and I say yes to a life of abandonment to His love and voice. I will honor the mandate of heaven over my life. Today marks a new day and I am never going back! In Jesus’s name we pray! amen!

How should our surrender affect our interaction with our family, our colleagues, the community and the world?

When we lay our life down for the heart of the King, we capture His passion and find our divine purpose. True greatness is only found as we die to selfish ambition, jealousy, envy, and strife, and embrace a noble culture that protects the heart of the King. SIX EXPRESSIONS OF THE BAPTISM OF FIRE (adapted from Dr. Brian Simmons)

In the Greek, the word for ‘fire’ is the same word for ‘purge’ or ‘clean’. Write out Luke 3:16-17 from the Passion Translation here:

1. Fire of Purity a. Results in cleansing b. Spirit of fire, spirit of burning i. Isaiah 4:3 c. Fire sword i. Genesis 2:24 d. Fire of testing i. 1 Corinthians 3:11-15 2. Fire of Zeal a. Results in perseverance and passion i. His Church 1. Revelations 3:15 2. Psalm 69:9 3. Psalm 104:4 ii. His Word 1. Jeremiah 20:9 (NKJ) - “His word was in my heart like a burning fire, shut up in my bones; I was weary of holding it back, and I could not.”

CHAPTER 3 — Born to burn

3. Fire for power to evangelize and gather the harvest a. Results in massive salvations i. Acts 1:8

ii. Acts 2:1-4 (TPT) - “On the day Pentecost was being fulfilled, all the disciples were gathered in one place. Suddenly they heard the sound of a violent blast of wind rushing into the house from out of the heavenly realm. The roar of the wind was so overpowering it was all anyone could hear! Then all at once a pillar of fire appeared before their eyes. It separated into tongues of fire that engulfed each one of them. They were all filled and equipped with the Holy Spirit and were inspired to speak in tongues - empowered by the Spirit to speak in languages they had never learned!”

4. Fire of His Presence

a. Results in making us like Him

i. Israelites camped around His Presence

ii. Christina Andriese

iii. Charles Finney

5. Fire of His Holiness

a. Results in devotion and consecration i. Isaiah 6

ii. Hebrews 12:28-29

6. Fire of His love

a. Results in devotion and intimacy i. Song of Songs 8:61

“Fasten me upon your heart as a seal of fire forevermore. This living, consuming flame will seal you as my prisoner of love.[a] My passion[b] is stronger than the chains of death and the grave, all consuming as the very flashes of fire from the burning heart of God.[c] Place this fierce, unrelenting fire over your entire being.”

The ancient Hebrew word for “seal” can also be translated “prison cell”. He longs for his bride to be his love prisoner, in the prison cell of his eternal love. [b] Or “jealousy”. [c] The phrase in Hebrew is “a most vehement flame” and is actually two Hebrew words. The first is “a mighty flash of fire”, and the second is “ Yah”, which is the sacred name of God himself. The Hebrew shalhebet-yah could be translated “The Mighty Flame of the Lord Most Passionate!” [a]

REVIVAL LIFEST YLE by Christina Andriese

WHO DO YOU SAY I AM? Revelation is the place where the fire of God is invited. The solution to every moral fail, every broken family, every power-hungry nation, is the fire of God in the earth. The solution to every area of life for all of humanity is burning. Our encounters with Him become the altars by which we experience an exchange, a covenant. Covenants were originally God’s idea. A covenant is an agreement that can only happen when two people are involved. It takes two to tango and two to make an agreement. Every time God shows up and manifests Himself - whether in tears, in shaking, in burning - He changes us and makes us more like Him. If after an encounter with Him we are not more whole, don’t look more like Him, and still find ourselves struggling with sin… it probably wasn’t an authentic encounter. If there is no fruit from our time of encounter it might not have been real. Every time I have encountered the Lord, especially His holiness, I changed. The experience of Him and the revelation of Him alone changes me forever. Let’s look at Matthew 16:13-20 (NLT): When Jesus came to the region of Caesarea Philippi, he asked his disciples, “Who do people say that the Son of Man is?” “Well,” they replied, “some say John the Baptist, some say Elijah, and others say Jeremiah or one of the other prophets.” Then he asked them, “But who do you say I am?” Simon Peter answered, “You are the Messiah, the Son of the living God.” Jesus replied, “You are blessed, Simon son of John, because my Father in heaven has revealed this to you. You did not learn this from any human being. Now I say to you that you are Peter (which means ‘rock’), and upon this rock I will build my church, and all the powers of hell will not conquer it. And I will give you the keys of the Kingdom of Heaven. Whatever you forbid on earth will be forbidden in heaven, and whatever you permit on earth will be permitted in heaven.” “

SUSTAINING THE FIRE SOCRATIC DISCUSSION Read Romans 12:11-12

What are the five elements of zeal and what do these verses show us about God’s desire for us to maintain a life of zeal? Do you think the fire of God and zeal for God can be synonymous?

Now, let’s consider the Old Testament model of the priests and their sacrifices as we learn practically what this looks like. Leviticus 6:8-13 says, “Then the lord said to Moses, “Give Aaron and his sons the following instructions regarding the burnt offering. The burnt offering must be left on top of the altar until the next morning, and the fire on the altar must be kept burning all night. In the morning, after the priest on duty has put on his official linen clothing and linen undergarments, he must clean out the ashes of the burnt offering and put them beside the altar. Then he must take off these garments, change back into his regular clothes, and carry the ashes outside the camp to a place that is ceremonially clean. Meanwhile, the fire on the altar must be kept burning; it must never go out. Each morning the priest will add fresh wood to the fire and arrange the burnt offering on it. He will then burn the fat of the peace offerings on it. Remember, the fire must be kept burning on the altar at all times. It must never go out.” ~52~

CHAPTER 3 — Born to burn

SOCRATIC DISCUSSION What do you notice is the main point of the above text in regards to the role of the priest. Why would the Lord make it a requirement for the priests to keep the fire burning on the altar?

In 1 Peter 2:9, every member of the body of Christ is referred to as a royal priesthood. To attend to Him (God) in ministry is the greatest privilege that we have as human beings and it is offered to every one of us. Through Jesus’ death we are able to come face to face before the Lord and lift up our offerings of thanksgiving and praise for who He is. Bill JOHNSON ~53~

REVIVAL LIFEST YLE by Christina Andriese

It is not the church’s job, my pastor’s job, or my friend’s job to entertain me or light my fire! I am a Priest of the Lord (1 Peter 2:9) and my fire is my responsibility. John Wesley was once asked, “What is your secret? Why do so many people come to hear you preach?” Wesley answered, “I get alone with God in prayer. He sets me on fire. Then people come out to watch me burn.” It’s hard to stand in the gaze of one whose eyes are like fire and not burn. The simple reality is that God built personal responsibility into our relationship with Him. It is similar to any relationship we have. We cannot force anyone to love us, and we cannot control anyone else’s process. We cannot expect to stay married if we do not engage with our spouses. It’s that simple. We have what we put time into cultivating. Similarly, we can’t talk, debate or force anyone to burn with affection for the Lord. We can’t persuade anybody into finishing well or being a good Christian. All we can do is burn and invite others to come along. Our lives as a framework will spark hunger as we release the possibilities of what our relationship with the Lord and revival can and should look like to the world around us. Do you think many people who we would consider to be “good Christians” are passive and apathetic? Why or why not?

I’ve heard it said, “It can be easy to stumble over who a person isn’t and miss the beauty of who a person is.” If we evaluate revivalists that have gone before us based on how normal they were, their relationships, or how they finished their race we may miss what God wants us to see from their lives. Evan Roberts went a little crazy, Alexander Dowie built himself a city, Aimee Semple McPhearson lied about being kidnapped, Kathryn Koleman had weird manifestations, Paul killed Christians, Peter denied Jesus, I had sex before I was married - the list goes on. CHAPTER 4 — Building a history

IT STARTS WITH HIS VOICE Someone asked me one time, “How do I become a world changer?” My response shocked me, as I blurted out, “Just position yourself in the middle of God’s love and when He tells you to do something, do it!” They walked away oddly confident and I was grateful that the Lord took over my response and made it simple. It can be all too easy to make a lifestyle of discipleship or revival complicated. Let’s look at what Jesus said in John 15 about the ease of devotion: “I am like a sprouting vine, and the farmer who tends the vine is my Father. He cares for the branches connected to me by lifting and propping up the branches that are fruitless and pruning every fruitful branch to yield a greater harvest. The words I have spoken over you have already cleansed you. So enter into life-union with me, for I have entered into life-union with you. For as a branch severed from the vine will not bear fruit, so your life will be fruitless unless you live your life intimately joined to mine. I am the sprouting vine and you’re my branches. As you live in union with me as your source, fruitfulness will stream from within you — but when you live separated from me you are powerless. If you live separated from me, you will be discarded like shriveled-up branches that are gathered up and thrown into the fire to be burned. But if you step into my life in union with me and if my words live powerfully within you — then you can ask whatever you desire and it will be done. When your lives bear abundant fruit, you demonstrate that you are my mature disciples who glorify my Father! I love each of you with the same love that the Father loves me. Let my love nourish your hearts. If you keep my commands, you will live in my love, just as I have kept my Father’s commands, for I am nourished and empowered by his love. My purpose for telling you these things is so that the joy that I experience will fill your hearts with overflowing gladness! So this is my command: Love each other deeply, as much as I have loved you. For the greatest love of all is a love that sacrifices all. And this great love is demonstrated when a person sacrifices his life for his friends. You show that you are my intimate friends when you obey all that I command you. I have never called you ‘servant’, because a master doesn’t confide in his servants, and servants don’t always understand what the master is doing. But I call you my most intimate friends, for I reveal to you everything that I’ve heard from my Father. You didn’t choose me, but I’ve chosen and ~61~

REVIVAL LIFEST YLE by Christina Andriese

commissioned you to go into the world to bear fruit. And your fruit will last, because whatever you ask of my Father, for my sake, he will give it to you! So this is my parting command: Love one another deeply!” John 15:1-15 TPT Now read it through again and circle, underline or highlight every word that shows emotion or connection. For example: love, joy, life union, etc. CONNECTING THE DOTS Go back to Chapter 1 and revisit our question: “If revival was dependent upon our love, how close do you think we are to seeing it?” Thinking through the lens of John 15, how does your answer change or become more refined in this part of our journey together?

Communicate the importance of God’s voice in our ability to live out John 15:

Our first encounter with God was the day we came face to face with grace and acknowledged that He is our Savior and Lord. There is no other experience that is like that initial encounter. But the Christian life was never meant to be defined by our first encounter, and our first encounter was never meant to be our last encounter. I love my salvation and that God picked me and chose me but I cannot think of a more practical and meaningful expression of His love than the truth that God wants to talk to me. It would be such a tragedy if we missed the gift of His voice. This is where our history with God is formed. In our experiences with Him, and the relationship that is established through our speaking to Him, and hearing Him respond. The gift of prophecy in its simplest form is the ability to hear the voice of God and share His heart with the world around you. Write out John 15:4 “So enter into

with me, for I have entered into with you.”

REVIVAL LIFEST YLE by Christina Andriese

It was fully His intent to live in a covenant relationship with us. We have been given the greatest thing in the world for free. The trouble most people have is valuing it as the greatest thing in the world. When you value a covenant relationship with God for the gift of His friendship, then you begin to build a history with Him. What makes a good friend? How important is it to be known and understood? Is that not the need of every heart? Good friends share time, moments, and experiences with each other. Good friends are vulnerable with each other. They are silly; they don’t pretend to be something they are not. Good friends finish each other’s sentences because they know each other so well! Good friends know the sound of your voice in a room filled with many people. Our history with God begins the moment we invite Him into a relationship with us. Many people invite Him as Lord and Savior - we have heard that language for years and it is great. But how many invite Him in as friend? I propose to you that He values that invitation just as much as we value the invitation to be saved. Our friendship with Him brings the release of justice on the earth! LISTENING PRAYER Jesus, remind me of the emotions, the feelings, the thoughts I had when I first encountered you.

HOW TO BUILD A HISTORY WITH THE LORD We’ve already established that the fire of God in our lives is our responsibility to maintain. But we don’t do it so we can burn for other people. We don’t burn for a promotion, anointing, or a book deal. We maintain our relationship with Him because this is where the fullness of life is! We are created to encounter God in many different ways: obviously through reading His word, in church, in generosity, through community, in nature, through worship, dance, and art; through journaling, meditating on scripture (Psalm 77:6, a diligent search of truth), soaking, resting in the Lord. It’s not a one size fits all or a one-way-or-the-highway! He can’t be contained in method and He is simply too amazing to reduce the possibilities to a book, a priest, and songs at church. CHAPTER 6 — Significance

TWO SIDES Since Jesus’ time on earth, each generation has struggled to understand the fullness of what it looks like to be the Bride of Christ. Even with the continual unveiling of more revelation as time goes on, the bride has remained confused about her destiny. This often happens when one generation believes an extreme and then the next generation creates a belief system in response to that extreme (which can be just as extreme)! Extreme is not synonymous with truth. Truth is what we are going after! The good news is - truth has a name - His name is Jesus! Significance is an example of one of those concepts that can cause confusion and reactionary belief systems. Ephesians 2:10 tells us we are born to do great things that God has actually set into motion before He set us into motion. To do a “great thing” often requires a great leader, a great learner, a great communicator, or a great builder. Our significance and worth are not derived from our gifts or talents or time-management skills! Our significance is attached to the worthiness of Christ, of the value of knowing Christ, of being known by Christ and of being in Christ. I know what you’re thinking: we are supposed to remain humble and not think too highly of ourselves, right? Didn’t David write in a Psalm that we came from dust? And Jeremiah said that we can’t trust our hearts because we are too wicked. Have you ever thought about those two sides? Talk about extreme! The truth is that significance is just as much a part of your dna as your eye color, your blood type, and sex drive. We are made in the image of God who is the originator of greatness, great things, and great kids. Greatness is inside of Him, which means it is inside of us. Write Proverbs 23:1-3 here:

~85~

REVIVAL LIFEST YLE by Christina Andriese

Before you can manage your appetite you have to admit that you have one! What does a healthy desire for significance look like? Who have you seen model it well?

Ask yourself: “Do I have an inappropriate desire to be significant? If so, write it out as a prayer of repentance to the Lord and exchange it for a pure one!

~86~

CHAPTER 6 — Significance

The antidote to an inappropriate desire for significance is the fruit of the Spirit of God in our lives. I like how they say it at Bethel Church: purity plus power. The fruit of the Spirit is the character of God in us. The gifts of the Spirit is the power of God at work in us. The anointing is the Holy Spirit building His character in us so we can operate in the fullness of His power, which is released through the gifts of the Holy Spirit. We corrupt the power of God without the character or fruit of the Holy Spirit. The fruit of the Spirit should be at the core of who we are. As God transforms our character into His character, then He releases even more of His gifts into us. As Bill Johnson says, His gifts are free but maturity is expensive. God has called you to be the answer for your dysfunctional family. You are the answer for the brokenness in the world; you are the answer for the corruption in government; you are the answer for the injustice in the medical field; you are the answer to the cries of the world around you. You were created for good works long before sin was established on earth and good works were needed. There are two wills of God. .

1. The things we

a. 1 Thessalonians 4:16, John 14:3 - Jesus coming back .

2. The things we

a. 2 Peter 3:9 - His will that none will perish We have a vital part to play. We cannot adapt to such an extreme view of His sovereignty because it takes away our responsibilities. Consider what generations are limited in accomplishing when they believe in extremes! God made Himself vulnerable to the impact and choices of His people when He chose to co-labor with us. He can do everything so much better without us, yet He put a plan in place where we would be the ones that would make earth like heaven. It’s wild to think about. It’s wild that this was His plan A. In our relationship with the Lord, there is an exchange that happens in His presence, and it shapes our passions and dreams. The more we build our history with the Lord, the stronger our friendship becomes, the more our hearts ache to see earth like heaven, the more we operate in purity and power, the more we connect to our original design of significance! This is God’s intention - a bride that is spotless, blameless, and fit for His son, Jesus!

Many christians never feel the liberty to creatively express what God is saying and doing in them personally. Bill JOHNSON ~87~

CHAPTER 6 — Significance

BORN FOR SIGNIFICANCE, HIDDEN IN OBSCURITY

Moses spent forty years in the king’s palace thinking that he was somebody; then he lived forty years in the wilderness finding out that without God he was a nobody; finally he spent forty more years discovering how a nobody with God can be a somebody. Dwight L MOODY

Mature people have a passion for the presence of God, which is greater than their zeal for ministry. People who are wonderfully anointed in ministry but very average in intimacy are not mature. Graham COOKE

Most people I admire never set out to earn my affection. I’m simply not that special that they would consider my thoughts. The opportunist mentality isn’t often the way of the kingdom. Self-promotion is exhausting and whatever we build through our own strength and a desire for promotion we have to sustain through our own efforts. However, when we build under grace - then the Lord sustains our efforts! Additionally, when people pursue positions, they end up being defined by them. But if you pursue passion and intimacy with Jesus, then when you have a position you end up defining it - not being defined by it. The Lord wants us to be identified by who we are becoming not by what we are accomplishing. Scripture is filled with examples of people who followed Yahweh or Jesus and were taken out of the public view and into a hidden place before they could destroy or abort their destinies. Obscurity. It’s a funny thing - the state of being unknown. It’s so contradictory to our current western culture where kids are getting phones and social media at ten years old. But what if… What if obscurity is the missing link to doing the Christian life well? Go back and look at the things you have documented about revivalists throughout history. Can you see a pattern of obscurity in their lives?

SOCRATIC DISCUSSION Think through some of the major biblical players and their history with God. What happened in their years of obscurity? Discuss with a group.

CHAPTER 6 — Significance

THE VALUE OF OBSCURITY Let’s look at some examples throughout scripture and consider how obscurity played a part in the lives of some of our heroes of the faith. 1. Paul, Acts 9 ,

a. b. 2. Joseph, Genesis 39-41 a.

b. 3. Jesus, Matthew 4:1-11 a.

,

b. Gives us tools to overcome temptation and opposition 4. Moses, Exodus 2-6 a.

,

b. 5. Mary, Luke 1:26-56 a. It’s where we learn to steward favor b.

Every mature person goes through at least one season of obscurity. You can choose obscurity or the Lord will help you by making you obscure for a season! Being hidden is for our benefit. The goal is to value obscurity for what it produces and not run in front of the Lord to get out prematurely. The Lord gives us tests that we can pass. If we don’t pass, He doesn’t write and “F” in big red letters; we simply get to take the test again. Seasons of life are similar. If we run in front of the grace of God, we get the opportunity to do it again. Like the Bible says, let patience have its way. (James 2:4) I love how the Message Bible translates James 1:2-4 — “Consider it a sheer gift, friends, when tests and challenges come at you from all sides. You know that under pressure, your faith-life is forced into the open and shows its true colors. So don’t try to get out of anything prematurely. Let it do its work so you become mature and well-developed, not deficient in any way.”

Everyone who spent time with Jesus began to dream of significance. Bill JOHNSON ~91~

Let’s look at Jesus’ life to see an example of vigilance: “And before he had finished speaking, people arrived from Jairus’ house and pushed through the crowd to give Jairus the news: “There’s no need to trouble the master any longer — your daughter has died.” But Jesus refused to listen to what they were told and said to the Jewish official, “Don’t yield to fear. All you need to do is to keep on believing.” So they left for his home, but Jesus didn’t allow anyone to go with them except Peter and the two brothers, Jacob and John. When they arrived at the home of the synagogue ruler, they encountered a noisy uproar among the people, for they were all weeping and wailing. Upon entering the home, Jesus said to them, “Why all this grief and weeping? Don’t you know the girl is not dead but merely asleep?” Then everyone began to ridicule and make fun of him. But he threw them all outside. Then he took the child’s father and mother and his three disciples and went into the room where the girl was lying.” Mark 5:35-40 TPT Jesus went out on assignment to heal Jairus’ daughter; however, the people around Him didn’t know what His assignment was. He knew that their opinions didn’t matter but that they were still powerful! So how did He respond? He told those who were mocking and ridiculing to leave! He kicked them out and silenced their influence.

Remember, the enemy fears the greatness that is inside you! He will entice us to verbalize a conversation around quitting or doubting so he can derail us from our destiny or influence us to change our assignment. We become numb to the majesty of the encounter when He pulled on our heart, and begin to entertain the option of aborting or abandoning our assignments. Your assignment is heaven’s investment in you for this season. How are you protecting it? What if it was as easy as being faithful until the moment you were made for comes. CONNECTING THE DOTS How influenced am I by those around me who are speaking into my circumstances, my ministry, my healing, etc? How is it affecting my current assignment?

Is there any area in my life where I am missing the grace of God because I am focused on the wrong voice?

CHAPTER 7 — Running into dark places

Have I abandoned or aborted any assignments from the Lord? Do I need to repent and realign my values and my ‘yes’ to my assignment?

What does it look like to be vigilant over my assignment and my significance in the Kingdom of God?

Let’s draw a line in the sand by making a declaration of vigilance together! God, don’t let me reduce my calling to a life of insignificance. I declare that quitting isn’t an option for me. I refuse to entertain ideas about aborting my assignment and destiny. How I feel isn’t how I am doing. I was born to do hard things well. I choose to be led by the spirit of God in me and not by my soul. ~101~

CHAPTER 7 — Running into dark places

IN THE SAME WAY WITH Jesus flawlessly modeled God’s love for every person in all the world for us to see. We seek to follow His example and wholeheartedly love the world around us. He may ask us to go into scary places. Alternatively, He may ask us to stay somewhere, and for some of us staying may be more scary and harder to obey then uprooting and following Him into the unknown. He may ask us to be poor, He may ask us to be rich and steward that responsibility well. The goal for us - as we maintain the fire of God on our lives and operate as living revivalists - is to follow Jesus! In Luke 9, we see opportunities that Jesus gave for people to follow Him. “As they were walking along, someone said to Jesus, “I will follow you wherever you go.” And Jesus replied, “The foxes have dens to live in, and the birds of the air have nests, but the Son of Man has no place even to lay his head.” He said to another person, “Come, follow Me.” The man agreed, but he said, “Lord, first let me return home and bury my father.” But Jesus told him, “Let the spiritually dead bury their own dead! Your duty is to go and preach about the Kingdom of God.” Another said, “Yes, Lord, I will follow you, but first let me say good-bye to my family.” But Jesus told him, “Anyone who puts a hand to the plos and then looks back is not fit for the Kingdom of God.” (Luke 9:57-62) Go back through the text and circle, underline, or highlight the word ‘follow’. Follow in the Greek, means:

Jesus was specifically connecting this idea of following Him and being a disciple, a learner. In Matthew 28:19, Jesus instructs His followers with what has since become known as the great commission. He urges those that love Him to go into the world and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Jesus had only been with His followers for 40 days since He rose from the dead. This commission was His last epilogue. Jesus sparked a revival of love 2000 years ago that continues to ripple and echo into the hardest hearts and darkest corners. I’d rather be with Jesus in the darkest of places than without Him on the safest street corner. So, if we are to truly follow Him, do we give everything up? The question isn’t what are you willing to give up; the question is how are you willing to live? Do you have excuses in your heart, even ones that seem good, like the disciples in Luke 9 who wanted to say goodbye or bury their deceased? We can teach an entire generation who they are and what is possible simply by living it ourselves.

Our “safe place” is not where we live; it is in whom we live. Tom WHITE, The Voice of the Martyrs

CULTURAL IMPLICATIONS

Effective teaching comes only through a changed person. The more you change, the more you become an instrument of change in the lives of others. If you want to become a change agent, you must also change. Howard HENDRICKS

RESEARCHING REVIVALISTS WILLIAM WILBERFORCE (1759-1853)

Describe culture (without Googling the word):

Now define it: What is culture?

~108~

CHAPTER 8 — Cultural implications

A culture is the agreed-upon set of values in an environment. It is what we protect or punish, what we reward or remove, what we allow or don’t allow. Much of culture is rooted in the unspoken behaviors, mindsets, and patterns in our environments. It is often hard to explain but usually felt nonetheless. So what is our responsibility as revivalists within the culture? It’s simple: it’s about spreading the culture of our Father’s heart. As we have discussed, this starts with our identity. First, understanding that Jesus paid a high price to give us - His followers - His identity. Living as His friends is the best way we can honor Him. It’s in Him we become the best version of ourselves. As we see Him we become like Him. Through encounter with Jesus we get saved, healed, freed, and a transfer of identity takes place. As the Bible says, we become a new creation. We become prone to righteousness, prone to love; His very nature changes us so we can change the world around us. We are called to reign in life as sons and daughters of God. Everything we do should be out of that position and perspective. Influencing the world around us with the attributes of heaven then becomes an outflow of who we’ve been changed into. This is who we are: a company of revivalists who will be in the same way with the voice of God and make this world like heaven, the way Jesus designed it to be; revivalists who will make the name of the Lord great rather than our own; revivalists who will champion a greater reality rather than echo the current trends; lovers of God who know that Kingdom culture isn’t a temporary assignment — it’s our destiny. This is why the phrase ‘full-time ministry’ is such a cliche! If you are a disciple of Christ, you are in full- time ministry. Your assignment determines where in society you get to represent Jesus: the healthcare industry, the entertainment industry, in government, church, family, or education. Write out 1 John 2:27 here:

We have a Divine influencer inside of us. He has to get out. If we don’t allow ourselves to take risks and release the love and light of who God is inside of us, we will be miserable. Revivalists are thermostats, not thermometers. They set the spiritual temperature rather than reflecting it. They rise above their mood or confidence and set a new standard. They understand that going to higher levels requires swimming upstream against the flow of fear, self-doubt, past failures, people’s opinions, insecurities, and lies. They overcome reflecting the status quo

~109~

REVIVAL LIFEST YLE by Christina Andriese

and believe they are anointed to bring Kingdom impact and change, no matter how they feel. The enemy hopes we will limit our ministry to times when we feel anointed, feel bold, feel empowered, feel prepared. Revivalists know that we have an anointing that abides. This is what it looks like to implicate the culture of heaven, which is inside of us, around us. For heaven to be manifested around us means we will naturally do things like pray for others, share Christ, declare healings and miracles, teach and prophesy. It is equally as important to acknowledge that the same anointing empowers us to do family life well, steward our finances, and have a thriving marriage. Those in Christ are carriers of an anointing that is contagious. The world becomes attracted to it because we have the answers they are looking for. It comes down to what we believe because what we believe has power over our lives. If you believe you are powerful in the Lord, you will be powerful. If you believe you are a revivalist at all times, revival fires will be sparked around you. As you believe you are anointed, and you will impact the world for Christ. Can you think of a time in your history with God where you didn’t feel anointed, and yet God used you powerfully

~110~

CHAPTER 8 — Cultural implications

LISTENING PRAYER Now, ask the Lord: is there any lie I am believing that would silence my confidence or limit Your anointing on my life to bring transformation wherever I go? Process that here with the Lord.

You are an open heaven. The presence that changes everything is in you, with you, on you, and through you. You are god’s wild card, heaven’s x-factor, and the incalculable difference maker. The odds might be 100 to 1; but if you are the one and you know Jesus, it is foolish to bet against you. Kris VALLOTTON

TRANSFORMATIONAL AGENTS

In a situation when you ask what is wrong, all you can do is bring change, fix the squeaky wheel. But if you ask what is missing, you can bring transformation and move into prophetic destiny! Dan MCCOLLAM

The longer we walk with Jesus, the more we are changed and transformed. But the goal is not to be transformed for transformation’s sake. We experience transformation in every part of our lives so we become a walking agent of transformation and the world around us becomes like the world inside of us. This is how Revelation 11:15 happens. Write out the verse here:

‘Affect’ and ‘effect’ are easy to mix up. ‘Affect’ is usually a verb, and it means to impact or change. ‘Effect’ is usually a noun, and an effect is the result of a change. When a person has been affected by the love of God, they have an effect on culture. How is the culture that I am creating at work, school, and home affecting the world around me? Does the way I deal with conflict at home echo a heart that can see transformation and pull it into every situation?

~112~

CHAPTER 8 — Cultural implications

Would I want this culture reproduced through my kids, employees, or friends?

CAN YOU IMAGINE?

Urged by love to every nation of the fallen human race, we will publish Christ’s salvation, and declare His blood-bought grace; to display Him and portray Him, in His dying form and beauty be our aim and joyful duty. Count ZINZENDORF

Genesis 1- 2 speaks about God’s original intention for earth. It’s easy to see the garden of Eden as heaven on earth… easy to imagine the beauty, freedom, and the freshness of creation in the beginning. Also, it’s easy to imagine because (let’s face it) there were only two people in the garden so there wasn’t much need for government, authority, or peace. After Eden, the closest example of heaven expressed on earth we have to look at is from King Solomon’s reign in the Bible. He sat on the throne for 40 years.

~113~

REVIVAL LIFEST YLE by Christina Andriese

Read 1 Kings 4:20-5:5 and write what you observe about the effects of Solomon’s reign on his people and Israel.

~114~

CHAPTER 8 — Cultural implications

SOCRATIC DISCUSSION We’ve talked about it a lot: ‘on earth as it is in heaven’. What does it look like, a world with no sickness or disease. No pain or pride. No struggle or torment. What happens to the hospitals and doctors?

~115~

REVIVAL LIFEST YLE by Christina Andriese

What could it look like to have an environment where everyone is powerfully anointed? Where everyone’s physical needs are met, there are no poor, no uneducated, and no marginalized?

What about when the governments of all nations are lead by servants and God-fearing men and women? How would land be divided? What would the role of leaders be?

~116~

CHAPTER 8 — Cultural implications

What could the prison system look like under the authority of heaven? What would the goal of education be?

Revelation 21:1-7 may give us a glimpse of what it could look like: “Then I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the old heaven and the old earth had disappeared. And the sea was also gone. And I saw the holy city, the new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven like a bride beautifully dressed for her husband. I heard a loud shout from the throne, saying, “Look, God’s home is now among his people! He will live with them, and they will be his people. God himself will be with them. He will wipe every tear from their eyes, and there will be no more death or sorrow or crying or pain. All these things are gone forever.” And the one sitting on the throne said, “Look, I am making everything new!” And then he said to me, “Write this down, for what I tell you is trustworthy and true.” And he also said, “It is finished! I am the Alpha and the Omega — the Beginning and the End. To all who are thirsty I will give freely from the springs of the water of life. All who are victorious will inherit all these blessings, and I will be their God, and they will be my children. ~117~

“Whenever you pray, be sincere and not like the pretenders who love the attention they receive while praying before others in the meetings and on street corners. Believe me, they’ve already received in full their reward. 6 But whenever you pray, go into your innermost chamber and be alone with Father God, praying to him in secret. And your Father, who sees all you do, will reward you openly. 7 When you pray, there is no need to repeat empty phrases, praying like those who don’t know God, for they expect God to hear them because of their many words. 8 There is no need to imitate them, since your Father already knows what you need before you ask him. 9 Pray like this: 5

‘Our Father, dwelling in the heavenly realms, may the glory of your name be the center on which our lives turn. 10 Manifest your kingdom realm, and cause your every purpose to be fulfilled on earth, just as it is fulfilled in heaven. 11 We acknowledge you as our Provider of all we need each day. 12 Forgive us the wrongs we have done as we ourselves release forgiveness to those who have wronged us. 13 Rescue us every time we face tribulation and set us free from evil For you are the King who rules with power and glory forever. Amen.’ Matthew 6:5-13 TPT

Let’s wrap up the same way we started! CHRISTINA ANDRIESE (1982-CURRENTLY IGNITING FLAMES OF PASSION) Christina is a fiery lover of God. When she was young she was described as rebellious and stubborn, but as she grew and learned what to do with her stubbornness, she discovered she was born for revolution. She loves God deeply and believes Him when He said, “You will have what your faith expects.” Part of the grace gift on her life is to activate and release people to be ministers of reconciliation and live in the fullness of their identity in Christ. Her relationship with God tends to be the catalyst for other people getting ignited and actualized into their destinies. She loves dreaming with God about the possibilities of a transformed world and putting her dreams into practice on a daily basis by loving the one in front of her with genuine affection. She manifests the presence of God through her tears and prayers. When she prays, heaven breaks through the atmosphere and people get filled with faith, hope, truth, and courage. When she cries, the holiness and tenderness of the Lord comes on the people around her and they get changed. She loves her family well, celebrates people well, leads her people well, and is committed to finishing her race well! Now add your name and how you want to describe your life.

I’m hoping from this day forward, you will never use the phrase “We experienced a revival last night,” or pray the prayer, “Lord would you bring us revival?” It is my prayer that because of our time together your belief system has changed from praying for revival to being an authentic expression of it. Thank you for traveling on this journey with me. ~121~

a revivalist blessing

I bless you in Jesus’ name to walk in the reality, the fullness of all you have learned and experienced these last eight weeks. I bless you to at peace within yourself, whether you are in obscurity or on a platform, that you would be true to your original design and honor both the Lord and His creation. I bless you in Jesus’ name to receive the truth that God is with you, empowering you with the same anointing as Jesus who went around doing good works and healing all that came to Him! I bless you to use honor and love as your weapons and to have the presence of God always be your north star. The world is in need of who you are! I declare this generation, this moment, is ripe for your picking. Everywhere you turn there is someone to love, someone who needs a miracle, someone who is longing for answers and the hope that you carry. I bless you to love with passion, live with zeal, work with excellence, laugh with an open mouth, learn with openness, lead with the presence, pray with faith, and give away what has been given to you so that earth can be transformed into heaven! I ask Lord Jesus, that you would protect your investment in your children and that it would always be a blessing to them and all who experience the gift of their life. I ask that you would be the only thing that satisfies them and that you would give them a heart to know you all their days. In Jesus’ name let it be so!

Christ is our message! We preach to awaken hearts and bring every person into the full understanding of truth. It has become my inspiration and passion in ministry to labor with tireless intensity with his power flowing through me, to present to every believer the revelation of being his perfect one in Jesus Christ. REVIVAL LIFEST YLE Most Christians have heard and even prayed, "Lord, we need a revival!" We want the igniting

power of God to be expressed in our lifetime, and we want to be a part of that expression. If revival was dependant on our love, how close are we to seeing it? Th is course will take participants on a journey to discover God's original intention for revival and how it applies to our everyday

life. We will do this by studying church history, fi nding our place in His story, and learning how to maintain the fi re of God in our lives. I'm inviting you to come and burn with me.

KEY OUTCOMES  Understand God’s original design as it is connected to revival on the earth.

 Understand how to strengthen yourself in the Lord and live a revival lifestyle.

 Identify how Kingdom honor influences

our soul and how to maintain an internal culture of honor that influences the environments we are in.

 Articulate an understanding of surrender

as it pertains to the Christian life and how

that affects interaction with leaders, family, colleagues and the greater community.  Identify how our story fits into church history.

 Identify God's plan for our commissioning

and empowerment to bring heaven to earth.

CHRISTINA ANDRIESE Christina Andriese describes herself as a lover of God and people. She is a pastor and senior leader at Centerpoint Church in Murrieta.
