REGISTRATION INFORMATION 2025

Note: Registration is an online process and is conducted off-campus. Please contact the Call Centre [Tel: +27 21 959 6767 / Tel: +27 86 123 2788 / Email: info@cput.ac.za] should you require additional registration assistance. Alternatively, please access the following link for detailed staff contact information: https://www.cput.ac.za/enquiries

Students who wrote their Final Grade 12 Exams in 2023 (or earlier), and have been fully accepted, can register from Tuesday, 21 January 2025.

Final evaluation (screening) of the 2024 NSC results will be conducted from Thursday, 16 January 2025 until Wednesday, 22 January 2025. All NSC results received by CPUT will be verified against the official results published by the Department of Basic Education and Training. Applicants must track the final outcome of their application via the following link: https://www.cput.ac.za/study/track; the outcome will also be communicated via an automated SMS to the cell phone number provided to CPUT during your application for the 2025 academic year. Please register within 48 hours from receipt of this SMS to avoid your space being allocated to the next deserving applicant.

Please note: The University strives towards being a student-centred institution and has invested a lot in ensuring the smooth running of online registration. Therefore, we would like to encourage students to use the online registration platform rather than having to stand in long queues on campus. Students should only visit the on-campus venues indicated in the registration booklet should they experience technical difficulties. Please refer to the faculty-specific information in the registration booklet in this regard.
