MOSS AQUAMARINE BRACELET MOSS AQUAMARINE, OR “AQUA” FOR SHORT, IS REALLY JUST A PRETTY TRADE NAME FOR A QUALITY OF AQUAMARINE THAT HAS A LOT OF INCLUSIONS. ALTHOUGH LACK OF CLARITY GREATLY REDUCES THE PRICE OF AQUAMARINE, IT DOES NOT NECESSARILY LESSEN ITS ATTRACTIVENESS, AND IT CAN MAKE LARGER STONES QUITE AFFORDABLE. THE CLOUDY NATURE AND SUBTLE COLORS OF THESE FACETED NUGGETS MAKES THEM IDEAL CANDIDATES FOR JEWELRY OF UNDERSTATED ELEGANCE.

Start the bracelet by threading on a crimp. Pass the beading wire through the ring of one half of the clasp and back through the crimp. Make sure that the beading wire is tight around the ring and squeeze the crimp shut.

Add a moss aqua nugget, a 2.5mm silver round, a Thai silver chip, and another 2.5mm silver round. Repeat this step 8 more times. Add a Thai silver chip, a 3mm round bead, and a crimp. Bring the beading wire through the ring of the other side of the clasp and back through the crimp and the round bead. Tighten the bracelet so that there are no spaces between the beads, close the crimp, and snip off any remaining wire. Add the crimp covers.

Make the dangle by adding to the headpin a Thai silver chip, a 2.5mm silver round bead, a moss aqua nugget, a silver round, another Thai silver chip, and the last 2.5mm silver round. Cut the headpin 5 ⁄8" above the last bead and start a wrapped loop. Attach it to the loop of the clasp ring and finish it off with several turns around the base.

Thread on a 3mm round silver bead and a Thai silver chip so that they fit over the tail of the wire and cut away any excess.
