All the things I wish someone had told me about booking shows before I started! This zine covers the basic info you need to know to start organizing DIY shows, but also explores those tricky little details that are hard to account for until you've been around the block a bit.
This zine is basically my memoir, completed when I confirmed I was leaving Lancaster, where I'd been hosting shows for 2 years. It was created in the hopes that it would aid in the passing of the torch that so often happens in DIY organizing.
When I started booking shows, I used DoDIY.org’s Building zine as a bible, this zine is a great companion to that (with different little details and whatnot).
