1. Natural “White” light is made up of a spectrum of color wavelengths. This spectrum is more commonly known as by it’s most visible formation, the rainbow. 2. When white light strikes objects, some waves of light are absorbed while others are reflected. 3. The reflected light waves are visible to our eye. The absorbed waves are not visible to us. 2

the inability or decreased ability to see color or perceive color differences under normal lighting conditions. It is genetically inherited and is more common in men than women.

refers to the brightness or dullness of a color. A high-intensity color is pure color. To lower the intensity of a color, we add a color’s complement.
