John Alexander John Alexander lives in Frisco, Texas with his beautiful wife and his Cavalier King Charles Spaniel. John spent his childhood in a small town in east Texas. He attended college at the University of Texas earning degrees in Physics and Math, then spent many years developing innovative communications systems. While still working, he began writing fiction in his spare time and published The Enclave, a mystery/suspense novel, in 2010. Since leaving high tech in 2014, he now spends full time pursuing his writing passion. John writes children’s books to capture their imagination and help them discover the love of reading early in life. He especially loves writing books that help elementary school children discover that reading is a fun adventure. The chapter books in the AmberAutumn mystery series, including Christmas Garden, Grandfather’s Blessing, Golden Campout, and The Secret Room appeal to elementary school children. His first picture book, Words That Soar, won first place at the 2019 North Texas Book Festival. The Christmas Gift, published by Elk Lake Publishing, Inc, came out in 2019 and was a finalist in the 2020 North Texas Book Festival. His latest children’s book, The Young Artist, An Unpicture Book, was just released in November 2020. John discovered his love for rhyme and released his debut book of poetry, Timeless Tales, in 2018. His latest book of poetry, Quiet Time Rhymes: Peace in the Pandemic, released August 2020, contains poems written during the pandemic offering prayers of hope and encouragement, heartfelt cries to God, and words of encouragement. Yvonne Morgan Besides author, my names include wife, mom, and grandmother. My children include two grown daughters and one son who lives with Jesus. I enjoy my role as Bebe to three beautiful granddaughters. My passions include missions work and sharing the amazing stories of how we can find Christ in the ordinary. Through my mission work, I started a charity, which cares for orphans in Nepal and Myanmar. When not on the mission field, I write full time. I hope my stories can help you see God in ordinary events in life and inspire you to reach out as the hands and feet of Christ to others. Joseph Akinrinola Joseph Akinrinola lives in Lagos, Nigeria, with his wife and four adorable children. He is a pastor with the gospel faith mission international. Besides, he is a Sunday school coach, an author, a blogger, and a freelance. He has served in the Sunday school for over three decades. His friends and students call him “Mr. Sunday school”. Joseph has published five books with two classics titled “effective Sunday school management made simple and effective Sunday school teacher.” As a regional coordinator, he oversees the activities of the Sunday school in over a hundred and twenty churches. Currently, he sits on the extended board of his Sunday school writing the weekly and daily devotionals read by over 2 million readers globally. His passion to reach the young people with the Bible truth on the relationship and Christian lifestyle, inform the creation of his blog www.thewisdombase.com. Scott Dunn Scott Dunn is a Christian husband and father who has spent over 15 years in the telecommunications industry. He is the founder of Talking with God (https://twgpodcast.com), a podcast that seeks to educate and encourage a closer relationship with God. A northerner who migrated south and has fully acclimated to the wonderful area that is known as the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains. He serves at his local church by helping with the production and online streaming of services. He has a genuine passion for the Christian man and his responsibilities often writing about them on his blog https://justholdfast.com where he shares open and real-life experiences so that other men can relate to the human condition and how that relates to a stronger love relationship with God.


Nicole Byrum Nicole Byrum is an independently licensed marriage and family therapist from Van Wert, Ohio. She is the author of Remade: Living Free, a book inspired by her work with women in recovery from substance abuse. In her free time she enjoys running, cooking, and maintaining a website that features a blog and podcast (you can check it out at nicolebyrum.com).


Anna Friend Anna Friend has an exuberant interest in people. She enjoys learning about personal relationships, community interaction, social conflict, aging populations, and religious faiths. Her fictional writing seeks to illuminate and enlighten her readers to gain a deeper understanding of our social world and how it shapes lives. Born in California, Anna has lived in several states in the US, both on the West and East Coast. Her travels and multiple addresses continue to facilitate her interest and study. She is early retired and lives with her husband as an empty nester in North Carolina, after raising 2 sons. Anna continues to grow her craft of writing by attending professional writing conferences, participating in a writer’s group, and taking creative writing classes online.


Tynea Lewis Tynea Lewis is a teacher turned work-from-home mom. She and her husband live in Pennsylvania with their two children, and they love spending time together at their family cabin. Tynea remembers loving to write as early as first grade. She has a heart for encouraging others in the midst of their messes. Pam McCormick Pam McCormick is an aspiring writer who recently retired from teaching in the public school and community college setting and still enjoys tutoring Algebra at the local library. Pam had a story, “The End,” published in Isothermal’s magazine, The Mentor, in December 2014. Pam was also published in December 2016 in collaboration with eight other authors to write a devotional book, Ancient Stones Timeless Encouragement. Pam is a member of the Encouragers’ Christian Writers’ Group that meets monthly. In her free time, she enjoys hiking and tent camping with her husband, watching old-time westerns, doing crossword puzzles, and spending time with her daughter in Kentucky and her son, his wife, and granddaughters, Merryn and Charlotte in Fuquay-Varina. Every other Sunday, she visits a nursing home and teaches a Bible study, feeling very blessed by God for this divine opportunity to share her love for her Savior. Pam has recently chosen to work on being more health-conscious by eating a better diet and exercising more. Although tough times have come along her journey with God, she finds solace in the Truth that God is always there, just a prayer away, ready to help her get back up on her feet and start afresh. Melissa Henderson Melissa Henderson is a writer of inspirational messages. Her first book for children, “Licky the Lizard”, was released in 2018. She also has a story in the compilations “Heaven Sightings” and “Remembering Christmas”. She contributes articles and devotions to various magazines and websites. Her passions are helping in community and church. Melissa is an Elder, Deacon, and Stephen Minister. She and her husband Alan moved from Virginia to South Carolina to be near son, daughter-in-love, and first grandchild. The family motto is “It’s Always A Story With The Hendersons”. Dr. Kathleen B. Oden Dr. Kathleen B. Oden is an author, missionary, and Bible teacher. She has been the Administrator of God’s House of Refuge Church & School of Evangelism, for 25 years. Dr. Oden attained a Doctorate degree in Christian Theology in 2000. After a bad fall in 2014, she realized that she had to start eating healthy, in order to fully recover. She became a Certified Health Minister and a Certified Essential Oil Coach. She loves ministering to people and God gave her a health ministry called, Create AnewU Health Ministry. Her health ministry has opened the door for her to share what the WORD OF GOD has to say about eating healthy. Karen Ruhl Publisher, Editor In Chief, Photographer, Writer Karen is a Professional Photographer, Photojournalist and Stock Photographer, Graphic Designer, and Marketing Specialist. She began taking photos as a young girl. As an adult, she had mentors work with her, teaching her both film and digital photography. She has also taken many photography courses to continue to learn her craft. Karen's images have been used in collateral material for local, regional and national clients. Her work has been featured in magazines and on billboards. Karen’s articles and photos have been featured on the front page of several newspapers in Ohio. Karen has owned and operated a creative marketing firm with her husband Craig for many years. God has blessed her with talents she uses in creating and publishing their magazine. She also provides marketing services for small businesses, churches, and authors. Karen is also a published author and speaker. Craig Ruhl Co-Publisher, Managing Editor, Critic, Writer He writes articles for the magazine and is our critic, reading many books each month to review in the magazine and on the website. Reading and writing have been his lifelong passions. After retiring from a career in business ownership and management, he now focuses his gifts and talents on spreading the good news of Jesus Christ through Faith On Every Corner. Craig is co-owner of Faith On Every Corner, LLC, a marketing firm providing marketing services for small businesses, churches, and authors.

When not working, Craig enjoys road trips with Karen, photography, and collecting and using fountain and dip pens.
