Issue 6
Autumn Term
8th February 2021 15th October 2021
Message from Mrs Conrad Pope Francis recently said, “Children and young people are the future; they are our strength; they are what keep us moving forward. They are the ones in whom we put our hope.” Over the last week, it has been truly wonderful to see how our girls illustrate the truth in this quote. Firstly, their Harvest Festivals last Friday tackled some of the important issues of climate change; this week, they have been eager to get involved in CAFOD’s, “Eyes of the World” campaign to encourage our world leaders to make courageous decisions that will protect our planet; on Tuesday, the Chaplaincy Team helped to lead our special assembly celebrating the gift of creation and thanking God for our animals and pets; on Wednesday, we delivered a minibus full of food to Dorking Foodbank to hep feed those who are hungry and struggling in our local area; and today, we have raised £150 to support the poorest communities in our global family affected by climate change. Thank you for your generosity and support in all these endeavours – we couldn’t do it without you! With St Teresa’s commitment to encourage and nurture our girls to be strong, compassionate young ladies with a passion for the common good, we can be confident that we can move forwards with hope – the future is in safe hands!

Thank you to everyone who joined us!
