The Under-10s in action against Cranleigh
Dear Parents The Junior Chamber Choir was on great form last Sunday at Ockham Church and we look forward to hearing them again this weekend when they shall be performing at the Cherry Trees Christmas Carol Service. Yesterday we welcomed Fr. John for a wonderful celebration of Mass in honour of St. Andrew. There is a busy programme next week with the Bright Stars sing-a-long on Tuesday; UP & Form 1 production on Wednesday; Christmas lunch & Christmas jumper day on Thursday, and the School Council cake sale on Friday. Yours sincerely Michael Connolly

Ballet Come and See
Parents in the Junior Department enjoyed the opportunity to ‘come and see’ the children in their ballet class this week. The children performed the ballet moves they have been learning this term and it was remarkable to see the progress the children have made. Special thanks to Miss Anna for inspiring the children each week and enabling them to develop their ballet skills. If you would like your child ( boys and girls) to join the ballet class, please sign up when the Easter Term clubs list is released next week.

If you go down to the woods today...... Well, you won't see many teddy bears but you may find some formidable Viking warriors hiding in the trees. Form One took inspiration from their Viking topic and used clay and materials found in Forest School to create the face of a Viking. They left the Vikings guarding Forest School. See if you can spot any when you next visit! The Form One team

On Thursday Mrs Williams talked to the children about ‘Thanksgiving’ and how it is celebrated in her family. She also baked pumpkin pie for the children to try. Afterwards the children drew pictures to show something they were thankful for. In Forest School the children made ‘mini Santas’ and learnt how to keep safe around a campfire while Mrs Woods cooked popcorn. This week we have been practising our songs for our Bright Stars ‘Christmas Sparkle’. We are looking forward to welcoming our families and friends for this special occasion in the Gym on Tuesday December 5th.
