SCHOLARS’ DINNER

On the 1st of February 100 of our students in Years 9, 10 and 11 participated in the Intermediate Mathematics Challenge (IMC). They competed against thousands of students across the UK and the world.

The IMC encourages mathematical reasoning, precision of thought, and fluency in using basic mathematical techniques to solve interesting problems. They are designed to make students think. Most are accessible, yet still challenge those with more experience. The following students deserve a special mention: Sophie A, Lucie B, Emilie C, Veronica C, Isabel C, Katy H, Emily H-F, Hanna K, Lucy

Summer O, Pretoria R, Cara S and Amelia S-M who all received a bronze certificate.

The following students achieved a silver certificate: Jamie L, Alisa F, Kiara G, Julia L and Sophie S.

Congratulations to all our students who participated.
