PUBLIC SPEAKING COMPETITON

On Thursday 7th March, St Teresa’s hosted our Interschools Public Speaking Competition against Cranmore. Our two competing teams worked incredibly hard on their speeches and spoke with insight and confidence on their chosen motions.

Team 1 comprised of: Ava S, Ella G and Mille H who stepped in as chair, in place of Sofia C. They debated whether or not the long summer holidays has become outdated in the modern world.

Team 2: Evie T, Hayley P and Amber R discussed whether make up encourages confidence or insecurity and shared some very personal ideas and research on their chosen topic.

Cranmore were strong competitors but we are delighted that Team 1 won the competition, the judges were very impressed all round with the high standard of the speeches from all that took part.

Congratulations!
