BOARDING NEWS

As we welcome our boarders back to term, we reflect on an amazing year the girls have been having so far and the exciting events in boarding this half term.

We have some lovely trips coming up this half term ; offering adventures to Gripped, Thorpe Park resort, Polesden Lacey and the gorgeous Brighton!

Our St T’s boarders have also been busy with study and revision with their end of year exams, with GCSE and A level exams still going on.

The girls have been working hard and we have every faith in them to do their very best and perform with confidence in their exams.

Other activities such as board games, evening tennis games, trips to the gym, jamming sessions to the hottest songs and catchups with the gaps, ensure a balance between school life, relaxation, and laughter.

We hope everyone had an enjoyable half term break and look forward to the upcoming weeks in our bustling boarding house.

DRAMA SUCCESS

Kaitlyn C entered the solo drama category at the Reigate and Redhill music festival and won first place and has been invited to perform at the Reigate Summer festival in June. Huge congratulations!!

ROME AND POMPEII TRIP

The girls had a wonderful trip to Rome and Pompeii over the half term. Some of the activities included visiting the Basilica S. Maria, where there is a chapel dedicated to St Thérèse, and heading to the Trevi Fountain.

They then travelled to sunny Sorrento, marvelled at the wonders of Herculaneum and Pompeii, visited Caecilius' House, and spent time shopping and eating gelato in beautiful Sorrento.

CCF TRIP TO HEADLEY COURT

On Friday the CCF attended a special morning of commemoration for D-Day 80 at Headley Court, invited by His Majesty’s Lord Lieutenant of Surrey, Mr Michael More-Molyneux. The Honourable Ralph Goodale, High Commissioner for Canada in the United Kingdom, was also present. The commemoration was a significant and memorable occasion.

ESTA EVENTS

ESTA recently celebrated it’s 10-year anniversary, and what a wonderful celebration it was! Plenty of tennis was played by parents, kids, and even staff.

At the same time, the PlayYour Way to Wimbledon tournament was also taking place, featuring some impressive matches.

We all had the chance to watch the finals together on the ESTA courts.Well done to the winners!
