Sports Update

Preparation for the IAPs Hockey Finals in 2 weeks' time continues to progress well for our U13 1st team under the guideship of Mr Williams and Mr Down. This was evident with a 2-1 win over Cranleigh on Wednesday. On the same afternoon, 8 Cranmore U13 teams played Cranleigh in a very competitive and enjoyable afternoon.

Year 7 & 8 PE continues with Racquets, with the strategical and tactical disciplines of the sports explored. Scholarship and Performance included both S&C and cricket nets.

Our Cross-Country Squad (U9s - U13s) performed superbly well at Highfield. We had many top 10 finishers, including Freddie W who came first, and Henry C who came 2nd in the U11 category amongst over 130+ competitors. The U11 and U9 team finished 2nd in their respective age groups against 28 other schools. U10s team came 8th, U12s team came 6th and our U13s team came 4th. Well done to all our runners.
