Welcome
s you have noticed from the cover of the catalog the name has changed and so have things at R & M... Richard and I have split up and are going our separate ways. Movin On Farms is Murray and Roxena’s new farm name and we are managing the sale. Richard and Karen’s new farm is Royal Rock Angus and they, along with Sandra Harris of Bayshore Angus, will be our guest consignors this year. Now that the politics is out of the way... Here comes the real business of selling bulls and what a great bunch of bulls we have this year. We have a really strong bunch of cow bulls and maybe even a stronger bunch of heifer bulls with a bunch of them out of first calf heifers. Our program is based on making the cows work harder and we work less. We have them grazing as much as possible and in doing so they have to maintain themselves and produce a good calf, which has left us with a very sound and functional herd. These bulls have not been pushed to burn out, they have been fed to be productive and have longevity with the commercial cattleman in mind. We stand behind our bulls 100% and if there is a problem we want to be the first to know, you will have a bull working in your pasture as soon as possible. We are very thankful to our customers for giving our program the opportunity to work in theirs. We would really like to thank the crew for helping us ‘get-r-done’. Thanks to the boys and their spouses, their buddies and our neighbors. Thanks a lot!!! We would also like to thank last year’s bidders and buyers. Just drive down to Lloyd Ex. and join us for dinner at 12:00 and for a visit after. As we will take the bull’s home after and semen test them in April and then deliver them. I think that this a great bunch of bulls! See you sale day at 1:00 pm! 2

A Rancher’s Guide to Life The quickest way to double your money is to fold it over and put it back into your pocket. When in doubt, let yer horse do the thinking. Never approach a bull from the front, a horse from the rear, or a fool from any direction. Behind every successful rancher is a wife who works in town. Timing has a lot to do with the outcome of a rain dance. If yer ridin’ ahead of the herd, take a look back every now and then to make sure it’s still there with ya. Only cows know why they stampede... and they ain’t talkin’... If you get to thinkin’ you’re a person of some influence try ordering somebody else’s dog around.

Here is a son out of a bull we call Little Man. He was a grandson of our Survivor bull, our Big “C” and back to a Lemay cow. He was our lead off bull for the heifers a couple of years ago and was our top seller to Willie Schleibinger. Willie let us use him and he sure did a job breeding our heifers. Remember he was out of a first calver himself and these three Little Man bulls are all out of first calvers as well. So if you are looking for a heifer bull these are the guys. This guys mother goes back to Program and Zama Pine and her Grandma has produced eleven calves and still counting. This guy also has his dad’s good disposition and is really quiet.
Here is another really good Little Man son out of Survivor, Canyon and a King daughter. This guys cow family is quite a producing bunch. His Grandma has four daughters in the herd with her last one being our show heifer where she stood 4th with very strong class of older heifers, and is the mother of 74A. This guy is out of a first calver and will be a heifer bull.
