The causes of global warming and the drivers for taking action, so that they can develop effective communications programmes; Standards and protocols for emissions accounting and reporting; and Energy-efficiency and emissions reduction techniques for implementing in the workplace.
CRA was commissioned to deliver the course internally to a leading UK waste management company, as part of its programme to address climate change and the requirements of the Carbon Reduction Commitment. The course was delivered at a number of locations throughout the UK, where it also included the senior management team. CRA tailored the course to address issues relevant to the waste sector, including the sector’s emissions calculator tool developed in France by Enterprises pour l’Environnement (EpE) and adopted in the UK by the Environmental Services Association.
