Discovery Program Camps
Meet at the Frances Anderson Center each day and walk to parks in Edmonds. All camps led by our Interpretive Specialist and Ranger Naturalists. Bring a healthy sack lunch and dress for the weather. Registration required.

Owls of Edmonds - Ages 7-12
Edmonds district non-school day camp Have fun with owls on your day off of school. Get to know owls by learning about their unique adaptations such as binocular vision, silent flight, and asymmetrical ears. Learn about the seven species of owls that call Edmonds home. Dissect an owl pellet to discover what this predator has been eating, and take a walk to a local park to explore owl habitat. Taught by Discovery Programs Staff.

Edmonds district non-school day camp Come and learn about the mammals that live in our area. Investigate how these animals have adapted to survive in our local parks while examining pelts and skulls. Learn how to search for and identify tracks, and take a walk to a local park to see what animals we can find. Taught by Discovery Programs Staff.
