Marin Region Weekly Update December 01, 2017
License # 01866771
Dear Marin Colleagues, You ALL ROCK! November was a stellar month in Marin with strong activity all the way through the end of the month. December is also showing strong activity in all Marin markets and looks to carry into January. Keep up the great work everybody. Our 2017 food drive starts now. Please see the ad in this newsletter for the food items that are needed the most and watch for an e-mail with a donation link or just go to: www.sfmfoodbank.org. Beth Mullen has agreed to chair the drive so e-mail her at beth. mullen@pacunion.com if you have any questions or need help. Our new Novato office is up and running and is located at 1305 Grant Ave. I want to congratulate our Novato agents, Jennifer Bowes, George DeSalvo, Lisa Bryam, Henry Hautau, Michael Milano, Sarah Sinkie, Marie Borders and office manager Amy Bowes on your new home. The Grand Opening Party is scheduled for January 25 4-7pm. I hope you can all make it. Pacific Union will continue to have an ever increasing presence in North Marin. Next Tuesday, December 5, is our next Estates Meeting. I would strongly encourage you to attend. Lisa Norman, our VP of Product Development, will present the new Agent Source initiative which will be kicked off in January. These new and upgraded marketing tools will help keep you on the cutting edge. Wednesday, December 6, 6:00-11:30 is our Pacific Union Holiday Party. I hope you can all attend. If you have not RSVP’d please do so. I look forward to seeing all of you and cheering to your great year as a true professional. Speaking of professional, my hat is off to Lisa Smith for closing her transaction in Belvedere last week. With numerous potential setbacks, Lisa worked closely with her clients and listing agent to solve the issues and bring the transaction to a close to the mutual satisfaction of all parties. Great work Lisa! Everyone is asking what the tax changes will mean to the real estate market in Marin and across the country. As of right now it is still up in the air as to what the final bill will include but I can say the last time Congress passed a bill so we could see what’s in it did not go so well. Let’s hope the smart minds prevail and the tax changes do not prove to be a disrupter to our markets. See you all soon.

Below are some key, high-level takeaways from the live event. RealScout and myTheo
Lisa Norman
VP, Product and Innovation Group member I often get asked why you would use both myTheo and RealScout. Although they have similar functionality, they each offer some distinctly different features. You may decide you only need to use one, but I recommend trying out both for 30 days before you decide.
myTheo • The fastest and easiest way to access MLS data on the go and on your mobile. • Quickly share property information with a client. • Plan a buyer tour with multiple locations (Google Maps) and share it with your client. • Chat in-app with your client or an agent. • MLS updates in real-time.
You have an account right now, click HERE to get started.
RealScout • Migrate all seller and buyer alerts from various places (MLS, CleanOffer) via RealScout migration service. They do it for you! • ‘Set it and Forget it’. RealScout will send property alerts to your clients as often as they choose. • Pacific Union clients love the search features and ease of use. • Huge photos, easy navigation and robust searchable features.
You have an account right now, ask your local staff to get you started.
