You are going for an interview and you are nervous because you feel uncertain about the job profile and about your interview preparation. Its okay to be a little nervous, everyone out there is a little nervous. However if you want to score this job it is essential that you leave a good first impression on the interviewers. Maintain eye contact while talking to the Interviewer, it shows that you are confident about yourself. 2. Always give a firm handshake but not too firm. 3. Make sure that your body language is relaxed and open. 4. Relaxation before and during the interview process; take a deep breath and move back into your chair. 5. At the interview its okay to take a moment to answer when asked a question, in fact you should do that. 6. If you don't get the question that the interviewer is asking, you can ask him again to repeat the question. 7. Timing matters a lot in the interview so you can ask some questions when the 2/3rd or quarter of the interview is over and then ask the question that you have prepared which they have not come up with. They can be the new skills that they require and you have no idea about that skill. 8. At the interview if they don't know that you are a team player and a go getter you need to pass the message. 9. When asked about the salary always give them the range of what salary you expect. Like if you want 20000 as your salary, tell them the range as 25 to 30 thousand so that if they negotiate below your range it will not be a problem for
you. 10.If the company is a start up, ask questions like are the projects already in the process and where does the funding come from.
