Robot Programming Programming of the industrial robots in the plants can be done in different ways. A modern and innovative approach is to generate the programs for the robots offline using the CAD data from the system design engineer. Our experienced programmers are able to produce top-quality robot programs, which only require minimal online programming efforts on site, by means of current offline systems such as Robcad, Process Simulate or IGRIP. Offline programs provided can be used for follow up, of course, or the scope of services can be rendered entirely online. The systems used in the plants are produced by robot manufacturers such as KUKA, FANUC, ABB, Kawazaki, etc. Applications deployed by the robots, such as gluing, lasing, clinching, MIG welding, roll hemming, etc., are becoming increasingly important and require extensive specialist knowledge in programming. Robot programming is complemented by a comprehensive range of documentation and verification – essential for the smooth running of the plant.
Project Managment Project structure plans, work packages, milestones, kick-off events, are just some of the terms used in project management. More than mere theories, our company puts them into practice. Our project managers actively head our project teams, especially when it comes to dealing with major new challenges and singular automation tasks. We are pleased if we can work with a customer on a project at an early stage.
Virtual commissioning/ simulation Time is money, and deadlines on a construction site are always tight. So, before we go to a construction site, we simulate sensitive critical processes within complex automation systems. This allows us to effectively check and resolve functional sequences, cycle time risks and collision risks. We simulate the complicated procedures of PLC programs as well as the enmeshed motion sequences in robot programs. To do this, we use systems such as WinMod, Invision or Process Simulate. Robot offline programming can reduce the production stoppage at least to 1/10 compared to online teaching or e.g. from 40 hours to less than 4 hours.
Approved partners ABB and Jaguar Landrover
Why GB-Robotics? Our unique selling point is the fact that unlike many other companies we have dual skilled programmers who can work both Online and offline thus reducing the head cost but increasing the skill set available on site. The speed / reaction time to issues onsite is also greatly reduced by both the presence of the knowledge from the offline Programmer or the fact the CAD and machine is available and can be accessed and viewed line side rather than being communicated back to a remote office.

Like any good musical orchestra there must be a conductor to bring all the instruments together, timing is key.
Simulation and virtual commissioning is an integral part of the industry, where time is money and deadlines on a construction site are always tight. So before we go to a construction site, we simulate sensitive critical processes within complex automation systems. This allows us to effectively check and resolve functional sequences, cycle time risks and collision risks. We virtual commission the complicated procedures of PLC programs as well as the enmeshed motion sequences in robot programs.
The PLC is the conductor controlling all of the robots at just the right time. He gives permission to enter and leave an area. To open or close a door and raise and lower a lift. Without the PLC working behind the scenes it would all simply fall apart. • • • • • •

To do this, we use systems such as RobCad, Process Simulate or Robstudio. Robot offline programming can reduce the production stoppage at least to 1/10 compared to online teaching or e.g. from 40 hours to less than 4 hours.
GB-Controls is a part of the GB-Robotics Group Our Controls department can advise you with any questions you may have. Drawing on over 30 years of experience in the industry there is nothing we haven’t come across
Where GB-Robotics Group differs from other companies is that we have systems onsite 24/7 so that any ignominies or indiscretions can be quickly looked at and corrected real time. This is essential for short time frames RobCad has often been the choice of the customer in the past and we have this department well covered, we can even convert from RobCad to Process simulate should you be looking to change your environment.

About us At GB Robotics our electrical engineering services automate processes in production, assembly and logistics. We handle all activities during the actual realisation and implementation phases. We also offer advice and support during the design and planning phases. In addition, we see our customers through production and operation with a variety of aftersales services. We have a team of 35 Robot programmers and 25 PLC Programmers, Electricians, Dimensional Mechanics, Joining and Simulation We pride ourselves on our experience in the new found EV Battery sector, which we have been involved in now for over 6 years. Please see our projects page. Our services include:
Training We train and instruct according to requirements. We provide individual instruction following modification or conversion work on existing systems and also organize multi-day training with theory and a strong practical element for new systems and large automation systems.
We not only create the training materials, but we also separately go into the specific features of a system, as well as expanding on basic instruction in a targeted manner, particularly in the area of robot programming.
Company Profile GB Robotics has been providing Robot programming and commissioning services in production automation since 1992. As an international supplier, we continuously expand our core competence in automotive welding and assembly and our main focus in production automation. In addition to the automotive industry, we are also a competent partner for clients from diverse fields. Consequently, we have customers from the data- and telecommunications industry, medical technology, the food and environmental industry and mechanical engineering. Our goal is to specifically develop production technology with innovations. To do this, we combine scientific methods with practical production know-how for industrial applications. With this unique competence portfolio, we join with our international clients in creating innovative user-oriented solutions in control technology and robot programming.
Customers We have been developing and creating tailor-made solutions for our global customers in the field of production, assembly and logistics for almost 30 years. In addition to the automotive and engineering industries, we also work for companies in the warehousing, data and telecommunications industry, medical technology and the food industry. GB-Robotics is now an approved partner for ABB Robotics.
