brand identity GUIDELINES are
a unique and specific way in WHICH a company uses logos, colors and marketing strategies to identify itself in the public’s eye. A way to bring recognition between product and company, packaging and advertising and ultimately, the brand story to its followers.

Primary logo/wordmark lock-up
Freestyle logo / wordmark is the primary logo used for all visual brand communications. This wordmark will be utililized on product, marketing materials and corporate literature to establish primary brand identity. The wordmark should not be altered, tilted, distorted or manipulated on any application unless approved by the Freestyle marketing or product department.

Primary logo/icon
Freestyle logo/icon is the default icon in terms of referencing the brand. This logo/icon will be utililized on product, marketing materials and corporate literature to establish primary brand identity. This logo is used on Athlete and Brand Ambassador equipment.

square logo/wordmark lock-up
The Square logo/wordmark is primarily used on the web for avatars requiring square formatting. This logo is featured as Freestyle’s Icon on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, Tumblr, Pinterest and Vimeo. Additionally, the square logo can be used in instances where the primary logo/wordmark does not aesthetically fit. For usage questions please contact the Freestyle Marketing Department.

tagline / social media LOCK-UP
In the age of social media, hash tags have become universal currency. The tagline / social media lock-up is designed to highlight Freestyle’s Instagram and Twitter handles (@freestyle_watch) and to reinforce our brand positioning with tagline / hash tag (#performancetiming). Our goal is to own the #performancetiming hash tag across the web such that it becomes synonymous with Freestyle Watches. The lockup shall be used in all advertising (space permitting), as well as in all relevant brand collateral: e-mail signatures, business cards, POP, web assets (space permitting) and event signage (where applicable).
Note: Colored fins will change per season to reflect the most prominent and or impactful color story of the collection.

visual communications that relate to Freestyle will be black, grey, white or blue. White only being used if background is too dark. Grey only being used as an accent color in copy. Blue only being used as an accent color in headers or on graphic elements as a “call to action�. This conveys a more assertive, utilitarian brand message. While four colors are not necessary in every visual communication, black and or white must always be present. For usage questions contact Marketing.

For all of the visual communications that relate to the Freestyle BRAND, Interstate will be used as the primary typeface. When appropriate, type should be set in uppercase.

Imagery & Marketing Request Procedure
All marketing for Freestyle must be reviewed and approved by Freestyle Management. This includes usage of visuals, marketing material, product placement, special events and/or sponsorship. Please contact your local representative with your requests. Each request requires a complete marketing request form to be submitted to Chad Labass – Marketing Manager (CLabass@freestyleusa.com). Freestyle will then review the proposal and you will be notified of the final decision. Please allow 2-4 weeks for review and decision. Please note for large marketing proposals such as sponsorships, and/or special events, we require the submission of requests at least 2 months in advance. Ample time must be allowed for review to Ensure all activities can be executed to brand standards.
