Precious Memories
As beautiful as a rose to see, Was her life she lived so gracefullbJ. She made things precious bbJ her touch, Her selfiess love lives on in each of us.
The sun rose on the life of Annie Mae Wallace on MabJ 17, 1942. She was born to her parents, Eddie Reed, Sr. and Jewell Williams-Reed. Annie was the second oldest of eight children born into this wonderful familbJ. Annie spent most of her adolescence in the Greenwood, Mississippi area and even started her own familbJ in this great citbJ. Annie had a great desire to make a better life for herself and her familbJ, so she soon decided to move to the great snow caped RockbJ Mountains of Colorado. Annie first arrived in Colorado around 1971, where she raised her children. She lived in Globeville and sent the children to John F. KennedbJ High School. Annie had two sons and five daughters: Robert, Jr., Lou Ester, Calvin Earl, Muriel Jean, Margaret, Annie Mae, and Yvonne M!Jers, who she raised to be caring individuals.
Annie cherished the manbJ accomplishments her children made and loved to brag on how well thebJ were doing in life. She could highlight moments of each child dating back to their high school graduation and their verbJ first moments driving. Some of her memorable moments includes Calvin's graduation with his Bachelor of Art from the UniversitbJ of Colorado who later joined the United States ArmbJ and seeing her girls travel the nation participating in Hot Shot and double-dutch competitions. Annie created a big familbJ and she was blessed and excited to see her children have their own children. She had 14 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. EverbJone loved her cooking and have a lot of memories celebrating the holidabJS at her home on Josephine. In her free time, she enjobJed cooking and listening to her BB King records. Over the bJears, Annie touch the lives of manbJ, and she will be remembered and missed bbJ all that knew her.
Annie lived a wonderful life until she passed awabJ on Easter SundabJ, April 12, 2020. She is preceded in death bbJ her loving husband, Robert Lewis Wallace, Sr.; two children, Lou Ester Wallace-Booker and Calvin Earl Wallace; two brothers, James Edward Reed and Robert Lee Reed; and two sisters, MarbJ Frances Reed and Julie Ann Reed. Those left to cherish her memor!J and live out her legacbJ include, her children, Robert Wallace, Jr., Muriel Jean Barnes, Margaret Johnson, Annie Mae Wallace, and Yvonne M!Jers Lincoln; one sister, one Ethel McCaskill and two brothers Eddie Reed, Jr. and Roger Reed; and a host of other relatives, and friends. ¡so Long Momma, So Long Grand-Momma, So Long Mbl Sister and Friend, Until We Meet Againl"
