After significant investment, Parque da Floresta is now their Flagship development and the western Algarve’s premier golf and leisure resort. Here, villas and village houses nestle into folds in a landscape that cradles what is arguably Europe’s most picturesque 18-hole, par 71 course. Today the Group owns and operates eight resorts in the western Algarve; Parque da Floresta, Quinta da Encosta Velha, Quinta da Fortaleza, The View I & II, Quinta do Montinho, Quinta da Aldeia and Quinta de São Roque.

In answer to demand for second home country property, Vigia has launched a similar product in the heart of the Alentejo – Parque do Redondo is the company’s new lakeside golf and leisure resort. Vigia has a property portfolio with something to offer everyone, with villas and village houses in golf, beach and country locations, all of which are testament to Vigia’s award-winning heritage. Vigia’s flagship resort – Parque da Floresta

In 1985 architect Pepe Gancedo began designing the Parque da Floresta Golf course and completed the task in 1987 making it the most south westerly course in Europe. The Vigia Group purchased Parque da Floresta in 1993. After significant investment, Parque da Floresta is now the Group’s flagship resort and offers an extensive and diverse portfolio of properties with options to suit many age groups and lifestyles. Four ‘villages’, aesthetically linked by their Moorish Algarvean architecture are located around an 18-hole, par-71 golf course. The first, second and fourth phases of development have been successfully

completed, the third is now nearing completion. Buyers have the choice of plots, villas or village houses, many with private swimming pools. The total area of the resort is 600 hectares including sister resorts Quinta do Montinho & Quinta da Encosta Velha and the construction density is 8% with no properties more than two storeys above ground level.
