It is designed to make it an exceptional and unique artistic design, offering a singular, exclusive encounter with your emotions, and particularly, your senses. The place is infused

with happiness and love, to ignite that fire in you to go for that unforgettable encounter. They call it an incomparable suite–might well be true. It’s poetic, the whole concept, strongly dealing with the element of desire in us; the desire to share, to encounter and to discover. It wants the occupant to awaken the senses and feel the thrill, and experience it, too. The suite welcomes you to live through emotions. The One offers a romantic journey which promises to be unique and extraordinary. The sequence of the rooms is meant to awaken each of your five senses, leading you to discover the sixth sense. Once you pass through the door of The One, you will find yourself in a confined yet unlimited space. The design uses a choice of
fabrics and materials which brings out the inside element. The glittering mirrors and the walls are covered with satined photos of sculptures, expertly chosen and carefully placed. As you move towards the first part of the suite, you will find the perfect place to relax and chill out. The TV screen is integrated in the mirror, and it’s for sure you won’t spend much time there as you will be busy enjoying other design elements and surprises. A complimentary bottle of champagne and a basket of delicious fruits await you to enjoy the moment. There is also a small kitchen which is well-equipped with everything that you need to make a ‘love drink’. Everything, from the fixtures to the materials, is expertly

chosen and carefully placed, with both design and comfort in mind. The second living room is round and opens like an alcove. A thick carpet, with a rose pattern, is for the lovers and the dreamers. You can connect your ipod to a dock, and have the music flowing in all the rooms. The hidden speakers make it more exciting as you feel the sound coming from different sides. Dance to the rhythm divine with your loved one in an evening filled with fun and enjoyment. A glance out of the window gets you a glimpse

of the Pont des Arts. Yes, you are in Paris, the city of lovers, so enjoy every bit of it! Finally, the bedroom. The room that welcomes the explorers of love with open arms seems to be located in the clouds! The room has the most wonderful and adequate layout–from the floor to the ceiling, the décor portrays an endless sky and floating clouds. The bed seems suspended in the air, over which the stars glimmer. You might be reminded of the sun going down and the stars coming out, thanks to the optic fibre, which
is also the principal theme of the hotel’s concept. The hotel is the labour of love of two very creative minds. One is Sandrine Alouf, a Belgian and Libanese artist who loves to daydream. For The One, she imagined a bed in the sky, but also wanted to show the way that led to it. The second is Philippe Vaurs, who also loves to dream of his hotels before realising them. A native of the Laguiole region, he always dreamt of creating his own hotel, but one that spelt a haven of peace, a real cocoon for lovers.
