When I started teaching over a decade ago, I quickly realized that alongside the academics in teaching, an organization dedicated to bringing light and warmth into Chinuch—for student and Teacher alike—would be so vital and game changing. With this in mind, Lubavitch Chinuch Organization, Igud Hamelamdim was born. The past four years have seen great successes. In pursuit of our mission, we have created a holistic approach with an array of services to enrich both the students and their Teachers. We’ve connected with schools around the world—and the results are evident. Chinuch is “a work of heart”, investing heart and soul into the lives of our children. Our dedicated team is constantly creating initiatives to align with our global mission. Our holistic approach is not only about effective leadership, but exists to create an uplifting classroom environment. Together, we can light the way for your children. Levi went through the system. Elementary was followed by a mainstream yeshiva high school, and a stint in Russia as a Shliach. He has the passport stamps and global friends to prove his journey. But there is something missing, and it’s not the smicha certificate hanging on his wall. For all his years behind a desk and with a chavrusa, Levi still does not know how to decipher a blatt of Gemara. And he isn’t alone. At 34, Levi wants more for his 11-year-old son, who, he hopes, is at the cusp of a lifetime of learning. He wants his son to have a love of learning Gemara the old fashion way, sitting in a Beis midrash over a sefer with the fundamental learning skills to succeed. Our proprietary multi-step program gives our students the foundational learning skills they need for life, to learn inside a Sefer on their own. The program’s structure includes: A customized curriculum, innovative Back Chazarah System (notably our exclusive phone hotline and Shabbos Review Card), our specifically designed cutting-edge and skill-honing tests and the Yegiah Reward System, which earn them valuable prizes in a grand Siyum event at the year’s event. Live Video Raffle-Rallies sweeten the program throughout.

Teachers’ Kolel 2017-2020 Torah learning brings joy to our hearts and sweetens our days. If only we could impart this sweetness to our children! In a welcoming atmosphere, Igud Hamelamdim’s evening Kollel for Teachers, gives our Mechanchim their own time to immerse in learning b’chavrusa with a fellow Teacher and enjoy the sweetness of Torah, thus inspired to be better Teachers and further impart that love and sweetness of learning to their students. The camaraderie and interconnection of the Teachers also serves as a vital forum for Teachers to share tools, experiences and advice. Providing a welcoming venue for our Kollel, while financing a symbolic monthly stipend presented to each participant—is key to fostering a warm learning environment. This ratified atmosphere is sure to blossom even more post covid. Stay tuned!

An innovative “Father and Son” program unites boys around the world in learning on Shabbos/Motzei Shabbos with their fathers and mastering their class study. “The Mivtza is contagious,” said Mrs L. of Los Angeles “My 5th grade son joined and that enticed his 2nd grade brother, to join, and then a neighbor, a cousin and a friend!’!
Mendy from Florida attends 5th grade at the local Lubavitch Cheder. Like many boys his age, he enjoys bonding with this father and reviewing his learning at the weekly Avos Ubonim in his shul, but during the height of Covid, the program was suspended.
