Porthcurno Telegraph Museum is an award-winning, family friendly museum set in WW2 tunnels. From Victorian times, this little village was the hub of communications throughout the British Empire. By WW2 it had become the largest and most important cable station in the world, so the bomb-proof, gas proof tunnels were built to protect the cable station from attack.

The Fascinating Story 100th Anniversary of the launch The legend of this disaster has reached mythological proportions and continues to fascinate millions world wide.
