The Company

Creative Emporium was founded in 1998 and has rapidly grown to become one of the UK’s leading branding companies, delivering a broad range of services including promotional merchandise, corporate clothing and uniforms, print fulfilment and point of sale. Our goal is to provide ‘The Complete Branding Solution’. Supporting each of these services is a capability in web design and development, graphic design, and strategic marketing; that helps build brands by creating awareness and connecting them with their target audience to encourage purchase behaviour. Today, our client portfolio features leading trade and consumer brands, retailers and manufacturers worldwide. Our in-house production team combine over 30 years’ experience, and are able to screen print, transfer print and embroider all items to exceptionally high standards by utilising the latest technology and robust quality assurance management processes. With warehouse space instantly available, and access to more should demand dictate, we are able to store stock in a clean and secure facility, enabling goods to be dispatched quickly and efficiently to any location. 2

We help to build brands by creating awareness and connecting them with their target audience. We are committed and forwardthinking in our approach to Corporate Social Responsibility, and we work hard at minimising our impact on the environment. We do this by employing the latest technologies, such as carbonneutral deliveries, paper recycling, and re-using packaging to minimise waste wherever possible. Our culture of ‘continuous improvement’ is a key part to our growth strategy, and as such, we employ LEAN management processes and methods, to ensure our production facility is operating efficiently, safely and flexibly, to ensure the highest quality output. Our production employees are trained to apply LEAN principles in all aspects of their operations, to ensure excellent and reliable customer service for our clients.

This runs alongside annual holiday leave so employees can take one day per year to partake in voluntary work and/or give something back to their communities. Over the past two years, several members of our team have used their volunteer days for a wide range of different activities - from cleaning up the local community to organising galas and running marathons!

We’re really proud of our strong team retention, with over 40% of our people having worked here for ten years or more.

All screen printing, transfer printing and embroidery is done in-house by our print and embroidery departments. With over 30 years’ experience, we have the necessary skills and expertise to ensure only items of the highest quality leave our premises. We have an 8,000 sq ft facility at our head office in Leeds. We also own two more warehouses in Leeds which we use for stock holding purposes. Your stock is entered into our fully automated system, CO3, and then distributed to any location you specify. A built-in function automatically re-orders stock when it runs low. We’re technical experts who break down the jargon

Our team of dedicated web developers and designers, design and create our bespoke online ordering system, CO3. Being in-house is ideal as it allows developments to be constantly made to the system to improve and streamline our service offering such as developing mobile friendly, responsive websites. As well as working on CO3 projects, our web team also work with existing web platforms such as Magento and Joomla. We also offer email marketing to clients with the ability to design, code, distribute and track e-shots and report on their success.

CO3 ONLINE ORDERING, BEAUTIFULLY SIMPLE CO3 is a bespoke built online ordering system that removes all the pain, administration, and hidden costs out of ordering branded merchandise and clothing (and any third party products). All CO3 systems are built in-house by our web team and are available to all our clients. As well as the site displaying your branded stock items, the site can also show over 5000 products from our online catalogue that can be branded to your requirements. This part of the site would enable someone to source a product and enquire for a price. We already have Promotional Search Portals (PSPs) in place with other clients. The portals are a great way to showcase products without committing to stock and allow for a wide variety of different products to be displayed.

CASE STUDY Nectar, the UK’s largest loyalty programme, chose Creative Emporium as their preferred agency for promotional branded merchandise in 2010.

Dual branding: For Partners to order branded merchandise with both Nectar and their own branding.

Since this time we have designed and built a CO3 site for them to store all Nectar branded merchandise. This allows partners who work with Nectar to log in and place orders online, and add their own branded products to the site - so that when they login, they can see their products as well making a convenient order point for all required merchandise and marketing collateral.

A product search portal: With a wide variety of products to provide inspiration and source creative ideas for Partners for their marketing campaigns and events, and allow them greater flexibility to match products tailored to their own brands.

To help Nectar champion their colleague engagement initiatives with their Partners, we evolved the online ‘Nectar Merchandise Shop’ in 2013, following feedback we received from research with their Partners to help make improvements to the site. Utilising our revolutionary ‘CO3’ technology, this brings together all of Nectar’s branded assets and branded products into one single online system. New features on the site include: An online shop: To purchase branded Nectar merchandise.

CASE STUDY Creative Emporium is a well-established supplier of corporate uniforms and merchandise and has great experience in running contracts for multi-national customers. Our CO3 online ordering system was designed specifically for the corporate clothing / merchandise marketplace and has been successfully implemented by leading brands such as Capital Shopping Centres (CSC). CSC has worked with us since 2008. We have sourced and produced a wide range of uniform and clothing for them including tailored products, blouses, shirts and casual wear.

CASE STUDY We have worked with Life Fitness UK for over 15 years providing all their promotional clothing and merchandise. The relationship began in 1998 when we first started to supply them ad-hoc merchandise. From small beginnings, the relationship has grown to where it stands today supplying an extensive range of clothing and merchandise to Life Fitness UK including t-shirts, water bottles and towels. This merchandise is delivered through a bespoke online ordering system. The ongoing success of our relationship with Life Fitness UK has now led to business in Europe, the Middle East and Africa. In March 2010 we pitched for, and won the 3 year exclusive supply contract to provide promotional clothing and merchandise to the Life Fitness EMEA regions. In order to win the pitch, we had to compete with Life Fitness EMEA’s current German supplier making it especially challenging for our Sales Team. The contract included the development of a revolutionary online ordering system bespoke built to Life Fitness’ needs. The system allows all Life Fitness Sales Offices and Life Fitness Distributors worldwide to order merchandise quickly and simply online. Over 38 countries including Russia,

Saudi Arabia and South Africa use the website, something we thought about with the addition of a multi-lingual service on the site allowing customers to select from five different languages. The system is cleverly set up to read the customers IP address and automatically set the website language for them. To support the site launch, a multi-lingual brochure has also been designed which features the range of merchandise available. Products have been carefully selected with the client and based on our extensive knowledge of the industry. The clothing range includes both performance and lifestyle clothing enabling customers to choose the correct item depending on their training needs. A selected range of Hammer Strength clothing and merchandise is also available. In addition to this, there is also a wide range of Life Fitness Promotional Merchandise including bags, headwear and water bottles. Quality was of utmost importance in order to reflect the design of the website and the Life Fitness brand itself, with particular care taken to select clothing that will perform for the wearer.

CASE STUDY The University of Manchester uses our innovative, bespoke online ordering system, CO3. Designed and launched in Winter 2012, it allows them complete control of all procurement activities to effectively promote and sell their branded merchandise online.

As part of an intensive tender process, we considered the entire ‘customer experience’ for buying University branded merchandise. Prior to being awarded the contract we visited the University and conducted an ‘audit’ for how they currently displayed and promoted their branded goods. During the pitch, we made suggestions on how to improve the customer retail experience, by making improvements to point of sale and in-store merchandising. However, what really made us stand out was our ability to provide a complete branding solution for the University; and to take their retail gift shop online via our CO3 e-commerce system, to help widen their revenue streams and expand the product and service offering.
