Calendar of Events May Spring into Sumer Festival This 2-day event is free to the public and will include free carnival rides, pony rides, train rides and various vendors. There will also be several different variety shows. All activities will start at 12 p.m. both days. There will be a free concert Saturday night at the Viceroy Performing Arts Center. According to deeds the Oak Grove School building dates back to either 1893 or 1900 but the exact date is unknown. The building, which the Tourism Commission has tried to restore with as much originality as possible, will portray a one-room schoolhouse setting from the late 1800s. Complete with antique children's and teacher's desk, along with potbellied stove and blackboard, the Oak Grove School House will truly take its visitors back in time. It will serve as a display for many of Oak Grove's historical artifacts and documents.

Located within Fort Campbell; traces the history of the “Screaming Eagles” from World War II engagements to Vietnam to Operation Desert Storm. Just outside the museum, various aircraft, military equipment and monuments are on display. These massive machines are sure to capture the imagination of every child and child-at-heart.
This 351-foot concrete obelisk was constructed to honor Jefferson Davis, the Confederate President during the Civil War. The monument is located at the site of Davis’s birth. There is a visitors center, gift shop and picnic area on the grounds.

A 170,00-acre outdoor playground, Land Between the Lakes National Recreation Area is just a short drive from Oak Grove. LBL is an inland peninsula formed when the Cumberland and Tennessee Rivers were impounded, creating Kentucky Lake and Lake Barkley. The area provides opportunities for boating, fishing, hunting, horseback riding, camping, and over 200 miles of hiking trails.
