Calendar of Events May Spring into Sumer Festival This 2-day event is free to the public and will include free carnival rides, pony rides, train rides and various vendors. There will also be several different variety shows. All activities will start at 12 p.m. both days. There will be a free concert Saturday night at the Viceroy Performing Arts Center. This event will take place at the War Memorial Walking Trail Park www.springintosummerfest.com September The Annual Butterfly Festival Held in September, children will be able to make environmental arts and crafts projects for free. There will be educational and interactive stage shows. Interact with live butterflies in their habitat in our Butterfly House or take a tour of our beautiful Butterfly Garden. Located just off 1-24’s Exit 86, the park pays homage to Veterans from all U.S. wars and conflicts by displaying a series of markers along the wooded trail.
The park is well lit and features picnic tables, benches and restrooms. Bring a picnic and enjoy the scenery!
October Halloween in Oak Grove This free annual spooktacular event is filled with fun for the whole family. Our Trick or Treat maze brings in local businesses that enable us to provide a safe environment for children to Trick or Treat and our haunted house is frightfully fun for the not so faint of heart. Evening with Santa Though the weather outside maybe frightful our activities are sure delightful; This annual free event offers a variety of crafts, a movie viewing room where Rudolph presents Christmas Classics, a drawing for gift giveaways with hot cocoa and cookies to enjoy.
